Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • How each works: Koncurent describes a procurement log with a familiar spreadsheet feel: connect to Procore, import Procore submittals or create and post them from Koncurent, and link procurement items to schedule tasks, with custom reporting and a project dashboard. ConstructivIQ says it pulls submittal status from Procore or Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) and schedule activities from Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project into one procurement view, and recalculates required-on-job dates when the schedule or a submittal changes.
  • AI: Koncurent's homepage does not describe AI features. ConstructivIQ's FAQ says its AI detects which advanced scenarios apply to a project, flags the materials and activities at highest risk based on the schedule and dependencies, and recommends tracking approaches by material type, project phase and risk profile (vendor description).
  • Complex items: ConstructivIQ's FAQ lists prefabricated assemblies and skids, materials with multiple submittals, multi-phase deliveries, owner-furnished contractor-installed equipment, embedded materials and field-measured components. Koncurent's homepage does not describe these cases.
  • Integrations: Koncurent names Procore as its integration (submittal and spec sync). ConstructivIQ lists Procore, Autodesk Forma, Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and vPlanner.
  • Subcontractors: ConstructivIQ says subs can log in at no extra cost or answer system-generated emails asking for lead times, fabrication status and delivery confirmations. Koncurent's homepage does not describe sub access.
  • Pricing and setup: neither publishes figures. Koncurent's buying path is Book a Demo. ConstructivIQ says it licenses a single project or a multi-project bundle, with enterprise agreements, priced by project size and duration; it describes an hour-long onboarding session to connect the submittal log and schedule, with full dependency setup taking a few weeks, and says it is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant (vendor statements).
  • Not used here: Koncurent customer quotes; ConstructivIQ's project counts, delay statistic, project dollar values, customer quotes, awards and its claim to be the only purpose-built platform.

Good or bad, an honest review from an estimator, PM or super helps the next team more than another vendor demo. You post under a handle; your email is never shown.

Questions to ask in your review

  • Whether Koncurent recalculates need-by dates from schedule changes the way ConstructivIQ describes
  • How either handles heavy civil work where materials are bid items rather than submittal-driven equipment
  • What each costs per project
  • What did you use it for, on what kind of work and project size?
  • How long did setup and training take, and who on your team did it?
  • What does it cost you in practice, compared with what the sales call said?
