What it doesConcreteDNA suite for concrete strength and temperature monitoring, delivery and lab test data collection, and AI mix insights. It comprises wireless sensors for real-time concrete strength and temperature monitoring (Cure), automated collection of delivery records and lab test data (Data Hub), and predictive and generative AI mix insights (Mix). The embedded Signal Long Range sensor is said to cover up to 72 acres from a single gateway. A precast curing and unit-tracking product is in early access beta. Vendor claims monitoring helps build up to 30% faster (vendor claim, not verified). Recent posts focus on mass-concrete temperature monitoring for data center foundations. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: the Mix AI app is now marked beta, the precast product is named FieldAtlas (factory curing data and element location tracking in the yard, in transit and on site; still early access), and the hardware list adds HELIX, a reusable long-range sensor with up to 1.5 mile range and Thermal Tails probes, alongside the Bluetooth Signal sensor (described as ASTM-compliant) and Converge Mesh. Listed use cases include data centers, post-tensioning, thermal differential monitoring, tunneling and major civils, and Converge runs a partner program for ready-mix producers. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: the homepage rendered only headline content in our browser, so details were read from the readymixers page, which lists the Signal System (wireless embeddable sensors for temperature and strength), the Helix System (reusable long-range sensors), Concrete DNA (app and dashboard) and Mix AI, and a ready-mix partner program referencing a Tarmac partnership; the Mix AI page now offers Request Early Access (it was marked beta on Oct 19), so we treat Mix AI as early access. Re-read Oct 22, 2026 for a compare: homepage and ready-mix page unchanged in substance (ConcreteDNA with sensor monitoring, Data Hub and Mix AI, which the homepage says uses predictive and generative AI to help pick the most carbon-efficient mix; Signal, Signal Long Range and Helix sensors; FieldAtlas for precast; a ready-mix partner program to package sensors with concrete, aimed at cement reduction, new low-carbon mixes, optimised strike times and fewer test cubes, referencing a Tarmac partnership). The 30% faster line and customer quotes are vendor material not used. Re-checked Oct 24, 2026: unchanged in substance (ConcreteDNA, Mix AI still marked beta in the menu, FieldAtlas in early-access beta, Signal and Signal Long Range, HELIX). The news section now also has a Sept 10, 2026 article on tracking high-value facade panels through the supply chain. Re-checked Oct 26, 2026: homepage and ready-mix page unchanged in substance (ConcreteDNA with Cure, Data Hub and Mix AI, still marked beta in the menu; FieldAtlas in early-access beta; Signal, Signal Long Range and HELIX sensors; the ready-mix partner program and Tarmac partnership article). The 30% faster line and customer quotes are not used.Concrete Copilot uses AI and machine learning to optimize ready-mix and precast mix designs for performance, cost and carbon. It combines AI with engineers' judgment. Vendor claims mix designs in seconds, average material savings of $5.04 per cubic yard, and a 30% average carbon reduction (vendor claims, not verified). The CSV records a $5.22M Series A. Re-read Oct 17, 2026: homepage unchanged in substance (millions of data points analyzed, optimal mix designs in seconds, the two average figures above); it does not name integrations or data sources. Re-read Oct 18, 2026: the platform page says Concrete Copilot uses generative AI to create millions of candidate mix designs, predicts their performance in seconds from the producer's current and historical data, connects to the QC software producers already use, needs 1-2 hours of training, flags raw material cost changes and leaves the final mix decision with the producer. Re-read Oct 19, 2026: homepage and platform page unchanged in substance; the navigation now also links a Savings Calculator. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: homepage and platform page unchanged in substance (Concrete Copilot generating candidate mix designs with generative AI, predicting performance in seconds from the producer's data, connecting to existing QC software with 1-2 hours of training, flagging raw material cost changes, and leaving the final decision with the producer; Savings Calculator still in navigation). The per-cubic-yard savings and carbon-reduction averages are vendor claims and not repeated here. Re-checked Oct 23, 2026: homepage and platform page unchanged in substance (generative AI creating candidate mix designs, performance predicted in seconds from the producer's data, connection to existing QC software with 1-2 hours of training, no extra lab testing step, scenarios when a material becomes available or unavailable or its cost or carbon changes, final decision left with the producer). News items include a Prairie Material low-carbon collaboration and a customer success hire in India. The per-cubic-yard savings and carbon averages are vendor claims and not used. Re-checked Oct 25, 2026: homepage unchanged in substance (Concrete Copilot for AI-assisted mix designs combining data processing with engineers' judgment; Savings Calculator still in the navigation; news items still include the Prairie Material low-carbon collaboration and a customer success hire in India). Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • Who buys it: Converge's homepage says ConcreteDNA is designed to help busy contractors make decisions quickly, and it runs a partner program for ready-mix producers to package its sensors with their concrete; a precast product, FieldAtlas, is in early-access beta. Concrete.ai is aimed at ready-mix and precast producers and their QC and mix design teams.
  • Where the data comes from: Converge collects field data from its own hardware (the Bluetooth Signal sensor, which it describes as ASTM-compliant; the embedded Signal Long Range; and the reusable HELIX sensor with Thermal Tails probes) plus delivery records and lab results through Data Hub. Concrete.ai says Concrete Copilot connects to the QC software producers already use and works from their current and historical mix and test data, with no added lab-testing step.
  • Where the AI sits: Converge says Mix AI uses predictive and generative AI to help pick the most carbon-efficient mix; the menu still marks it beta. Concrete.ai says Concrete Copilot generates a very large set of candidate mix designs, predicts their performance in seconds, re-optimises when a material becomes available or unavailable or its cost or carbon changes, and leaves the final decision with the producer (vendor statements).
  • Pricing (checked Oct 26, 2026): neither publishes prices. Converge's /pricing returns not found and it offers Book a free demo and Get in touch; Concrete.ai's /pricing returns not found and it offers Request a Demo (its navigation also links a savings calculator, not used here).
  • Not like-for-like: Converge is mainly a monitoring system for pours in the field, with mix insights layered on top; Concrete.ai is mix design software used at the plant before concrete ships. A producer could use Concrete.ai to design a lower-carbon mix and a contractor could use Converge sensors to watch that mix gain strength on site.
  • Not used here: Converge's build-speed figure, sensor-range comparisons to football fields and customer quotes, and Concrete.ai's per-cubic-yard savings and carbon-reduction averages (vendor content).
