IMAGINiT vs Revizto

Two ways a Revit-heavy team gets more out of its models, from different directions. IMAGINiT, an Autodesk Platinum Partner, sells its own Clarity utility that automates Revit and Autodesk Forma tasks and tracks model health; Revizto is a 2D/3D collaboration platform for clash automation and issue tracking across trades. Not like-for-like (our reading): Clarity works on the authoring models, Revizto on coordinating them. Vendor pages read Oct 21, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.

What it doesAutodesk Platinum Partner reselling Autodesk software, Bluebeam and Leica scanning, with its own utilities, training and consulting. It sells Autodesk software (Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Forma) plus Bluebeam, Leica scanning, and others, with its own utilities (IMAGINiT Clarity, Pulse, Utilities for Revit/Civil 3D/Vault), training, ProductivityNOW eLearning, and consulting such as BIM/CAD management, reality capture, and Procore-to-Forma migration. Re-read Oct 18, 2026: IMAGINiT Clarity automates Revit, Autodesk Forma and Forma Design Collaboration tasks on demand, on a schedule or on sync to central (batch exports, backups, model clean-up and transmittals, data sheets for 20+ Revit categories) and tracks 60+ model health metrics with alerts and a model health score, with exports to Power BI, SQL and Excel; it connects to ACC, Bentley ProjectWise, BIMTrack, Procore and Bluebeam Sessions. The homepage now promotes IMAGINiT GoCanvas (formerly IMAGINiT FormsConnected), digital forms for work orders, inspections and safety reports with validation, approvals and ACC and Fusion Manage integrations. IMAGINiT says it is a division of Rand Worldwide. The pages we read do not describe AI features of its own, so it keeps the Not AI-first label. Re-read Oct 19, 2026: the homepage still promotes GoCanvas, a Procore-to-Autodesk Forma migration service, ProductivityNOW and Leica reality capture. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: homepage navigation unchanged in substance (IMAGINiT Clarity, Clarity Cloud, Pulse and utilities; resold Autodesk, Bluebeam, Eptura, GoCanvas, Leica and SiteDocs products; training and ProductivityNOW; Procore to Forma and Bentley to Autodesk migration services). The services menu lists AI Readiness Services, a consulting offer rather than an AI feature of its own, so the Not AI-first label stands. Second read Oct 21, 2026: the homepage hero now leads with custom software and workflow automation (tailoring Autodesk and business systems), alongside GoCanvas, the Procore-to-Forma migration service, ProductivityNOW and Leica reality capture. The Clarity page is unchanged in substance (on-demand, scheduled or sync-to-central tasks; 60+ model health metrics with alerts and a health score; Power BI, SQL and Excel exports); its FAQ says Clarity supports Revit, BIM 360 and Autodesk Forma workflows, and it lists file exports to Egnyte, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive. Hours-saved figures and customer quotes are not used. Still no AI features of its own described, so the Not AI-first label stands.AECO 2D/3D collaboration platform for delivering complex projects (vendor description), with a new Draft Mode for faster reviews. It is listed on the Groundbreak exhibitor page under the company name 3DreamTeam Inc. Vendor states 1000+ customers and 80K+ projects (vendor claims). Re-read Oct 18, 2026: its Collaborative Clash Automation page describes scheduled clash tests, model imports and issue syncs run overnight or from a central machine; checks for intersecting objects, clearance issues, duplicates and required or missing elements; automatic clash grouping that consolidates related clashes into one issue; and automatic issue creation from clash groups with conditional templates that assign trades, priorities and tags. Release 5.18 adds Draft Mode, which keeps new 2D markups and 2D or 3D issues as drafts until published. An MCP Server page says customers can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or a private LLM to query live project data, flag missing or non-compliant properties and summarize or triage open issues, with inference on the customer's own infrastructure; Revizto itself does not describe a built-in AI model, so it stays tagged Not AI-first here. Re-read Oct 19, 2026: current release is still 5.18 (Draft Mode); the product menu now lists the Revizto API alongside the MCP Server, the homepage cites 100+ plugins, formats, partners and CDE integrations, and the pricing page says every tier has all features with no premium modules and free Revizto Academy training. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: current release still 5.18 (Draft Mode), which also lists a Custom Property CSV export/import round trip (beta), sheet numbers, titles and revisions aligned with Revit, and drawing comparison at different scales. The MCP Server FAQ says the connected AI can read issues, clashes and project data and add comments or update issues within the signed-in user's permissions (Revizto advises keeping write actions review-based), that regional endpoints follow where project data is hosted, and that the server comes at no additional cost to Revizto customers. Still no built-in AI model described, so the Not AI-first tag stands; customer counters and rework percentages are not used.

Pricing (as publicly stated)Vendor-listed pricing for IMAGINiT's own Clarity Cloud (pricing page, checked Oct 16, 2026; unchanged Oct 18 and Oct 19, 2026): Standard $50 per project/month plus $8 per CPU hour of cloud task processing, or a fixed annual fee for hybrid/on-premise task processing; Enterprise via contact. Resold Autodesk and other products are sold through its online store and sales, not reviewed here. Confirm current pricing with the vendor. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: no price changes (Clarity Cloud Standard still $50 per project/month plus $8 per CPU hour of cloud task processing, or a fixed annual fee for hybrid/on-premise processing; Enterprise via contact). Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: unchanged (Clarity Cloud Standard $50 per project/month plus $8 per CPU hour of cloud task processing, or a fixed annual fee for hybrid/on-premise processing; Enterprise via contact).Custom quote / no public prices on pricing page (checked Oct 16, 2026). Three licensing models, all with every feature: per-user annual subscription (multiple projects), per-project licensing with unlimited users for the project duration, and usage-based Enterprise licensing with unlimited projects on a multi-year agreement; each routes to a quote or demo. Re-checked Oct 18, 2026: still no prices; customized agreements through sales. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: still no prices (per-user, per-project with unlimited users, and usage-based Enterprise, all via quote or demo). Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: still no prices (per-user annual, per-project with unlimited users, usage-based Enterprise on a multi-year agreement; customized agreements via sales); the MCP Server FAQ says it carries no additional cost.

Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • Who they are (vendor wording): IMAGINiT Technologies, a division of Rand Worldwide, resells Autodesk software plus Bluebeam, Leica scanning and other products and sells its own utilities, training and consulting; its homepage now leads with custom software and workflow automation that tailors Autodesk and business systems, next to IMAGINiT GoCanvas, a Procore-to-Autodesk Forma migration service, ProductivityNOW eLearning and Leica reality capture. Revizto calls itself AECO collaboration software, a 2D/3D platform for delivering complex projects, and its pricing page points architects to per-user plans, engineering firms, general contractors and subcontractors to per-project plans and owners to enterprise plans.
  • What each automates: IMAGINiT says Clarity runs tasks on demand, on a schedule or when users sync to central (batch exports, backups, model clean-up and transmittals, data sheets for 20+ Revit categories) and tracks more than 60 model metrics, such as file size growth, unresolved warnings and performance issues, with alerts and a model health score at model, project, group and firm level. Revizto says its Collaborative Clash Automation schedules clash runs, model imports and issue syncs overnight or from a central machine, checks for intersecting objects, clearance issues, duplicates and required or missing elements, groups related clashes into one issue, and ties 2D/3D issues and markups to their location in the model.
  • Data and integrations: Clarity exports model data to Power BI, SQL Management Studio and Excel, integrates with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bentley ProjectWise, BIMTrack, Procore and Bluebeam Sessions, and exports project files to Egnyte, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive; its FAQ says it supports Revit, BIM 360 and Autodesk Forma workflows. Revizto lists dashboards, model data extraction, an Issue API and an open API with pre-built connectors; release 5.18 adds Draft Mode, a Custom Property CSV export/import round trip (beta) and sheet numbers, titles and revisions aligned with Revit.
  • AI (our reading): we tag both Not AI-first. IMAGINiT's homepage and Clarity page describe automation and analytics, not AI features of its own. Revizto offers an MCP Server that connects the customer's own AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or a private LLM) to live project data; its FAQ says the AI can read issues, clashes and project data, summarize and prioritize them, and add comments or update issues within the signed-in user's permissions, with inference on the customer's side. Revizto does not describe a built-in AI model.
  • Pricing (checked Oct 21, 2026): IMAGINiT publishes Clarity Cloud Standard at $50 per project per month plus $8 per CPU hour of cloud task processing, or a fixed annual fee for hybrid or on-premise task processing, with Enterprise by contact; the Clarity page itself offers Request pricing. Revizto publishes no figures: per-user annual subscriptions, per-project licenses with unlimited users for the project's duration and usage-based Enterprise agreements, all with every feature and all through a quote or demo; its MCP Server FAQ says the server carries no additional cost for Revizto customers.
  • Not used here: IMAGINiT's customer, location and hours-saved figures and its customer quotes, and Revizto's customer, project and data-volume counters, rework and coordination percentages and customer stories (vendor claims). Neither tool has been tested by Means & Methods Lab.

Good or bad, an honest review from an estimator, PM or super helps the next team more than another vendor demo. You post under a handle; your email is never shown.

Questions to ask in your review

  • Whether a team needs both, Clarity for model health and exports and Revizto for clash and issue coordination, or only one
  • Whether Clarity's model health metrics and Revizto's required and missing element checks catch the same model problems
  • What a Revizto per-user or per-project license costs; Revizto does not publish prices
  • What did you use it for, on what kind of work and project size?
  • How long did setup and training take, and who on your team did it?
  • What does it cost you in practice, compared with what the sales call said?
