Revizto vs Autodesk Model Management

Two coordination platforms that detect, group and assign clashes as issues. Revizto is a standalone 2D/3D collaboration platform with clash automation and an MCP server for customers' own AI; Autodesk's Model Management pairs Navisworks Manage with cloud Model Coordination in Autodesk Forma, formerly BIM Collaborate. Vendor pages read Oct 18, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.

What it doesAECO 2D/3D collaboration platform for delivering complex projects (vendor description), with a new Draft Mode for faster reviews. It is listed on the Groundbreak exhibitor page under the company name 3DreamTeam Inc. Vendor states 1000+ customers and 80K+ projects (vendor claims). Re-read Oct 18, 2026: its Collaborative Clash Automation page describes scheduled clash tests, model imports and issue syncs run overnight or from a central machine; checks for intersecting objects, clearance issues, duplicates and required or missing elements; automatic clash grouping that consolidates related clashes into one issue; and automatic issue creation from clash groups with conditional templates that assign trades, priorities and tags. Release 5.18 adds Draft Mode, which keeps new 2D markups and 2D or 3D issues as drafts until published. An MCP Server page says customers can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or a private LLM to query live project data, flag missing or non-compliant properties and summarize or triage open issues, with inference on the customer's own infrastructure; Revizto itself does not describe a built-in AI model, so it stays tagged Not AI-first here.Autodesk's clash detection offer, Navisworks Manage plus cloud Model Coordination in Forma. Model Coordination was formerly sold as BIM Collaborate. Read Oct 18, 2026: Autodesk says Autodesk Construction Cloud is now part of Autodesk Forma and product names have changed; its Model Management page describes uploading multi-discipline models and automatically detecting clashes, automatic clash grouping and dynamic clash tolerance filters, turning clashes into assigned issues, and tracking and verifying fixes across Navisworks, Revit and Forma, with Navisworks Manage for clash resolution, model aggregation, 4D/5D simulation and 3D model review and reality capture workflows with ReCap Pro. Its FAQ says the BIM Collaborate subscription (Model Coordination, Design Collaboration and Docs) is no longer sold, and that these are available through the Model Management bundle, Navisworks Manage or BIM Collaborate Pro. The pages we read describe automatic clash detection but no AI features.

Pricing (as publicly stated)Custom quote / no public prices on pricing page (checked Oct 16, 2026). Three licensing models, all with every feature: per-user annual subscription (multiple projects), per-project licensing with unlimited users for the project duration, and usage-based Enterprise licensing with unlimited projects on a multi-year agreement; each routes to a quote or demo. Re-checked Oct 18, 2026: still no prices; customized agreements through sales.Quote only (re-checked Oct 18, 2026 ~1:15 PM ET): the Forma for Model Management pricing page loaded successfully (HTTP 200) and describes a Bundle Offer for Model Management with Model Coordination and Navisworks Manage, but the only call to action is Get a quote (links to Autodesk's VDC buy-contact form); no dollar amounts for the bundle appear in the page content. The standalone Navisworks Manage product and store pages still return access-denied (HTTP 403) to our fetch. Confirm current pricing with Autodesk.

Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • Product shape: Revizto describes one 2D/3D workspace where drawings and models sit together, with issues pinned to their spatial location on any device and 100+ plugins, formats and CDE integrations. Autodesk describes desktop Navisworks Manage (clash resolution, model aggregation, 4D/5D simulation, 3D review) plus cloud Model Coordination in Autodesk Forma, tracking fixes across Navisworks, Revit and Forma; Autodesk says Autodesk Construction Cloud is now part of Autodesk Forma.
  • Clash detection: Revizto lists scheduled clash tests and model imports run overnight or from a central machine, and checks for intersecting objects, clearance issues, duplicates and required or missing elements. Autodesk describes uploading multi-discipline models and automatically detecting clashes, with dynamic clash tolerance filters.
  • From clash to issue: Revizto describes automatic grouping that consolidates related clashes into one issue and automatic issue creation from clash groups with conditional templates that assign trades, priorities and tags; its FAQ says Navisworks needs separate applications for workflow management (Revizto's claim). Autodesk describes automatic grouping and turning clashes into issues assigned for resolution, tracked and verified across its tools.
  • AI: neither describes a built-in AI that finds or resolves clashes on the pages we read. Revizto's MCP Server page says customers can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or a private LLM to query live project data, flag missing or non-compliant properties and triage issues, with inference on the customer's infrastructure. Both are tagged Not AI-first.
  • Buying: Revizto offers per-user annual, per-project (unlimited users) and enterprise licensing, all by quote. Autodesk's FAQ says BIM Collaborate is no longer sold and points to the Model Management bundle, Navisworks Manage or BIM Collaborate Pro; its Model Management pricing page (re-checked Oct 18, 2026) loads with a Get a quote CTA and no dollar amounts, so we list Autodesk as quote-only. Not used here: customer quotes on Revizto's clash page and an AECOM rework figure on Autodesk's page.
