Clearstory

Change order communication platform (formerly Extracker) for general contractors, specialty contractors and owners: digital T&M tags with signatures, change order request (COR) logs shared between parties, rate libraries, allowances and contingencies, backcharges, analytics (days aging, ball in court) and ERP/PM integrations. Clearstory AI lists four agents: COR Pricing Agent and T&M Tag Agent (open beta; drafts CORs and tags from voice notes, photos, takeoffs or drawings and matches rate libraries, which the vendor says can exceed 10,000 line items in heavy civil), COR Review Agent (closed beta; checks incoming CORs against a checklist, approved rates and backup) and Change Notification Agent (analyzes a design change, impacted trades and cost exposure). Also Bulk AI Import of existing COR logs and AI Reason Categories for every COR. Pricing FAQ says Clearstory does not train AI models on customer data (vendor statement).

General contractors, self-performing GCs, specialty contractors (trades listed include concrete, excavation, electrical, mechanical) and project owners; heavy civil is listed.

Basic is free (5 T&M tags and 5 CORs per month, unlimited projects, Bulk AI Import). Standard and Professional through sales; FAQ says they carry a per-user fee plus a platform fee per project, licensed by project, office or company, with a free managed pilot. (Pricing checked Oct 15, 2026.)
