Procore Groundbreak 2026: what was announced, what you can use now, and what it costs
Groundbreak is Procore's annual user conference. The 2026 edition runs October 21-22, 2026 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, with pre-conference activities on October 20, so the second and final day is under way as this is published. We read Procore's newsroom and AI pages, its partners' announcements and ENR's coverage on Oct 22, 2026 and sorted what was announced into three piles: what you can use now, what is in beta, and what is only planned. Every product statement below is Procore's or a partner's own claim; Means & Methods Lab has not tested any of it. This is desk research for estimators, project managers and contractors deciding what to ask their Procore rep, not a review or a recommendation, and Procore did not pay to be covered.

Groundbreak 2026 at a glance
Procore's Groundbreak pages say the conference is October 21-22, 2026 at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Dr, Orlando, with pre-conference activities on Tuesday, October 20. In-person passes are listed as sold out; Groundbreak+, a free virtual pass, livestreams the Day 1 keynotes and offers selected sessions on demand. The Day 1 opening keynote was given by Procore's CEO.
By the time we checked Procore's newsroom on the morning of Oct 22, 2026, it listed three press releases dated October 21 and datelined at Groundbreak 2026: the Procore AI Go voice app, the next phase of its NVIDIA collaboration, and a collaboration with IBM. We found no Day 2 releases at that time. ENR reported further product news from the main stage, and two partners (COMPASS by Bespoke Metrics and EarthCam) tied launches to the event. The table below lists each item with the availability its source states. We will update this page if Procore announces more.

How Procore got here in 2026
Groundbreak 2026 is the first since Procore bought Datagrid. Procore's January 20, 2026 release says it completed the Datagrid acquisition that month, did not disclose terms, and that Datagrid's CEO joined Procore to lead AI and data strategy. Procore said Datagrid products would stay available to both Procore and non-Procore customers. Datagrid's own pricing page, read Oct 22, 2026, still lists a Free plan at $0 a month, Pro at $90 a month with 1,000 credits, and Enterprise at custom pricing.
On May 21, 2026, Procore announced a new Procore AI experience with Datagrid embedded, adding Actions (agents carry out steps such as updating records and generating documents) and Triggers (agents respond to events such as a new submittal or RFI). It named five agents: Deep Search, Submittal Review, RFI, Daily Log and Contract Review. It said answers cite their sources and agents need human consent before actions are finalized, and that the embedded version was then in private beta.
On July 23, 2026, Procore introduced three Digital Coworker packages (Starter, Pro and Enterprise), said all three were generally available, and said its agent library had grown to 20 agents, naming a Site Safety Agent, a Schedule Analyst Agent and a Change Analysis Agent among the new ones. The same release previewed Skills, which lets a company teach the agents its own procedures and standards (rolling out from August, per Procore), and Control Tower, an admin view of AI usage and credit consumption by agent, project or team member. Agent Studio, for building custom agents, is Enterprise-only.
On July 29, 2026, Procore agreed to buy DroneDeploy for approximately $845 million in cash. DroneDeploy's September 22, 2026 release announcing Ground Pro, a premium 3D add-on to DroneDeploy Ground, says the acquisition has completed and that DroneDeploy became part of Procore in September 2026. On August 5, 2026, Procore made Asset Register, part of Procore Asset Management, generally available in North America, EMEA and APAC.
Prior-year context: at Groundbreak 2025 in Houston, Procore's October 15, 2025 release described AI built into an intelligence layer it called Procore Helix, new Procore Assist features (photo intelligence, Spanish and Polish questions and answers, and mobile support) and Procore Agent Builder in open beta. The 2026 releases and AI pages we read use the names Procore AI, Digital Coworker and Agent Studio and do not mention Helix or Agent Builder. We could not confirm from these pages how those earlier names map to the current packages, so ask your rep if you piloted them.
Available now, in beta, or planned
Available now, per the sources: the three Digital Coworker packages (generally available since July 23, 2026, per Procore), the agent library, Procore Asset Management with Asset Register, DroneDeploy Ground Pro as a premium add-on, COMPASS prequalification inside Procore through Prequal for All, and, per ENR's report, bulk submittal updates of up to 500 submittals at once with a dynamic submittal plan.
In beta: Procore AI Go (open beta, North America, customers on a Digital Coworker package), AI Go on Meta's AI glasses (closed beta), the NVIDIA Realism Mode digital twin (closed beta), Model Manager and Commissioning (progressing through beta, per Procore), and the procurement log shown on stage (closed beta, per ENR).
Planned, with no dates given: AI Go creating daily logs and observations, drafting RFIs and translating, and running agents such as the Daily Log and Site Safety agents in the app; the IBM Maximo integration, which Procore's release says reflects current plans and is subject to change; and the COMPASS Risk Agent, which COMPASS and Procore say is expected later this year.
What it costs, as far as Procore publishes
Procore does not publish prices for its AI. Its AI plans page, read Oct 22, 2026, describes the Digital Coworker Starter Pack as a 6-month term at flat-rate pricing covering up to 3 projects with five agents, and lists Anthropic and Google as its large language models. Digital Coworker Pro is a 12-month term with credit usage-based pricing, 20 agents, video analysis and scheduled automations, and adds OpenAI to the model list. Digital Coworker Enterprise is also a 12-month credit-based term with 20+ agents, Agent Studio, deployment specialist support and a BI connection. Every plan routes to Request a demo, and Procore says it does not charge by the seat.
Credits are the meter to watch. Procore's plans page says credits are consumed at data ingest and when agents perform tasks, so cost depends on how much project data you index and how often agents run. Procore's AI Go release says the open beta is included across the three Digital Coworker packages; it announces no separate price. Procore's core platform pricing page still describes an upfront annual fee by product based on Annual Construction Volume, with unlimited users.
Two partner terms have dates attached. COMPASS's product guide says its PQM assistant is included with a COMPASS subscription at no additional charge during launch, but that questions asked through Procore AI use credits from the company's Procore AI credit pool. Procore's blog says Procore Prequalification will not be enhanced further and will sunset on March 31, 2027, and that COMPASS will waive fees until 2028 for teams that sign up by December 31, 2026. No price was announced for the NVIDIA or IBM work.
What it means for estimators and precon teams
The precon news is mostly in the agent library rather than on the main stage. Procore's agent library page lists a Bid Analyst Agent (checks bids against scopes, drawings and specs for gaps and exclusions), a Bid Leveling Agent (compares subcontractor bids in one matrix), a Scope Writer Agent and a Drawings and Specs Specialist Agent. Procore's plans page puts 20 agents on Pro and the five-agent Starter Pack does not include these, so the package you buy decides whether estimators get them. Our Procore Bid Management page still labels that product Not AI-first because its own product page does not describe AI; ask whether the bid agents work inside Bid Management records and on which package.
Prequalification is changing underneath you if you use Procore's own tool. With Procore Prequalification set to sunset on March 31, 2027 and COMPASS named the preferred replacement, precon and risk teams have a decision to make before spring bidding. Our compares of COMPASS by Bespoke Metrics with Highwire, with ISNetworld and with Avetta lay out how each describes its prequal model, using vendor pages only.
If you are weighing Procore's agents against tools already on our site, the table at the end of this article links our Procore AI vs Autodesk Assistant and iFieldSmart AI vs Procore AI compares, our Procore Bid Management compares with BuildingConnected, Buildr and Pantera Tools, and our roundup of AI bid leveling tools.
What it means for project managers and engineers
The most concrete PM news is not AI. ENR reports that Procore's product lead said bulk submittals were the number three request from Procore users, that the new submittal workflow can update up to 500 submittals at once rather than one by one, and that the submittal agent checks each one and is live now in Procore. ENR also describes a dynamic submittal plan that schedules submittals and shows which are on track or behind. ENR reports that the procurement log shown on stage is in closed beta. Procore's agent library separately lists a Procurement Log Creator Agent that pulls long-lead items, submittal dependencies and delivery milestones into a log.
For document-heavy work, the agents Procore named in May (Deep Search, Submittal Review, RFI and Contract Review) plus the Change Analyst and Schedule Analyst agents are where to start a pilot. Procore says agents cite their sources, follow existing Procore permissions and do not act without sign-off; those are vendor statements to check on your own project. If your documents live in several systems rather than only Procore, Datagrid is still sold on its own; our Ontollo vs Datagrid and AsBuilt vs Datagrid compares cover that route.
None of the Groundbreak releases we read mention Procore Resource Planning, DocuSign for Procore or Procore Pay, so the facts on those pages of our site stand as last checked: see Procore Resource Planning vs Bridgit, Assignar vs Procore Resource Planning, DocuSign for Procore vs Constructable and Dropbox Sign for Procore (Shake IT) vs DocuSign for Procore.
What it means for superintendents and field crews
Procore AI Go is the field-facing launch. Procore says crews can ask spoken questions about drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, daily logs, observations and inspections and get spoken answers based on their Procore data, with push-to-talk so jobsite noise does not trigger it and conversation history kept on the device. In the open beta it answers questions; creating daily logs, observations and RFI drafts is described as coming soon. The Meta AI glasses version is a closed beta, and Procore describes it as a collaboration to explore how glasses could work on active jobsites. Procore also says it is participating in a field-productivity study with Moss Construction designed by SBK Technologies; no results were published in the release.
Reality capture now sits inside Procore. With DroneDeploy part of Procore, the NVIDIA release describes bringing DroneDeploy's capture into the digital twin to compare progress against design, and DroneDeploy's Ground Pro adds interior maps, mobile 3D scans and measurable 3D from 360 walks. EarthCam says its new Procore integration delivers camera answers through Procore Datagrid and adds trench safety, housekeeping, delivery verification and dump truck detections. Our OpenSpace vs DroneDeploy and DroneDeploy vs Propeller compares set DroneDeploy beside other capture options.
What it means for owners
The NVIDIA and IBM announcements are aimed at owners and large programs. Procore says the NVIDIA Realism Mode digital twin is in closed beta and lets teams test weather, sun exposure and crew and equipment movement against plans, and see how a late delivery could ripple through the schedule. The IBM collaboration aims to pass structured asset records from Procore Asset Management into IBM Maximo at handover; Procore labels its future availability a current plan, not a commitment. Asset Register, the part you can buy now, captures asset information during construction; Procore says viewing assets in 3D BIM is available in the UK and Ireland, with general availability planned for fall 2026.
Questions to ask your Procore rep
Our suggestions, not Procore's. Which of the agents and features announced at Groundbreak are in the package we would buy, and which are beta, closed beta or roadmap? What does one credit cost, how many credits did a comparable customer use per project per month for data ingest versus agent tasks, and what happens when the pool runs out mid-term? Does Control Tower let us cap credit use by project or team?
Is AI Go included in our package after the open beta ends, and does it work outside North America? When will it create records rather than only answer questions? Do the Bid Analyst and Bid Leveling agents read our Procore Bid Management packages directly? Is bulk submittal editing available on every Procore Project Management contract or only with AI packages?
If we use Procore Prequalification, what is the migration plan before March 31, 2027, and what will COMPASS charge after 2028? If we piloted Agent Builder or Procore Assist, what carries over into Agent Studio and the Digital Coworker packages? Which large language models process our data on each plan, and what is in the contract about model training and data retention? Ask for answers in writing, and ask to run one agent on one of your own live projects before you sign.
What we could not confirm
As of our check on the morning of Oct 22, 2026: we found no Procore press releases from Day 2 of Groundbreak; Procore publishes no package or credit prices; no general availability date for AI Go, its field actions or the Meta glasses version; no named Meta glasses model; and no exact closing date for the DroneDeploy acquisition beyond DroneDeploy's statement that it became part of Procore in September 2026. The bulk submittal and procurement log details come from ENR's report of the keynote, not from a Procore release. We looked for Groundbreak 2026 product coverage in Construction Dive, For Construction Pros and BuiltWorlds and did not find any at the time of writing; Construction Dive lists the event in its 2026 conference calendar. Procore reports third-quarter results on November 3, 2026, which may add detail.
Used Procore AI or another Procore tool? Tell other buyers
Means & Methods Lab is built on desk research plus reviews from people who use the software. We have not used Procore AI, AI Go, Datagrid or DroneDeploy on a project, and a press release cannot tell you whether an agent's submittal review caught what your project engineer would have caught, or how fast credits ran down. If you have used any of the Procore tools in this article, or an alternative you chose instead, please leave a review on its tool page: what you used it for, on what kind of project, what worked and what did not. Read the review guidelines first. We never write, seed or edit reviews, negative reviews stay up, and vendors cannot pay to change or remove them.
