SmartBid (ConstructConnect)
Not AI-first Bid management & project leads
WHAT IT DOES
Web-based and mobile bid management for general contractors, now part of ConstructConnect: send invitations to bid from templates, an online plan room with tracking of which subcontractors view and download plans, a private subcontractor database (organize by trade, location, minority status), prequalification with a ConsensusDocs 721 form integration and a custom questionnaire builder, and BidTabs for comparing subcontractor bid submissions side by side. Integrations listed include Procore, Autodesk BIM 360, Dropbox and the ConstructConnect sub network. The pages we read do not describe AI features.
WHO IT'S FOR
General contractors' preconstruction and bid teams; subcontractors invited to bid or prequalify get access at no cost.
PRICING MODEL (AS PUBLICLY STATED)
Not publicly listed. Pricing page describes an Annual Standard License scaled by number of users (subcontractor database, ConsensusDocs 721 prequal, plan room with unlimited projects and ITBs, BidTabs, full API access, setup and training, live support); subcontractors invited to bid access it free; faxing listed at 8 cents per page. (Checked Oct 16, 2026.)
