WHAT IT DOES
Progress reporting service from Hexagon Multivista: automated model-to-photo comparison of 360° photos against a federated 3D model (NWD) and a project schedule (P6 or Excel), marking model elements built or unbuilt and reporting progress by trade, floor, or system. Hexagon says its technology detects progress automatically and expert analysts QA every update. Its FAQ says building progress reporting requires an NWD model, a P6 or Excel schedule, and 360° photos from approved apps such as Multivista or Hexagon GoCapture; drone and SLR photos are not supported; setup can take up to 6-8 weeks; and reports are typically available 48-72 hours after images are posted. Lists compatibility with Autodesk ACC, Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project, and up to 10 years of data hosting. It sits in Hexagon Multivista's Analyze services alongside deviation analysis (which Hexagon describes as an AI-driven model-to-scan comparison) and UAV-based earthwork progress reporting. Separately, Hexagon announced on Oct 6, 2022 that it would integrate AVVIR's AI-powered technology into its construction portfolio; we did not find a Hexagon page naming AVVIR as the engine of this service.
