DocuSign for Procore vs Constructable
Two ways a general contractor gets contracts and change orders signed. DocuSign for Procore is Procore's own integration that sends Procore documents into a DocuSign envelope; Constructable is a project management platform for mid-size GCs that says eSigning is built in and included in its subscription. Not like-for-like: one is an add-on to a platform you already run, the other is pitched as a replacement platform. Vendor pages read Oct 21, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.
In short: DocuSign for Procore (Procore-built) (eSignature integration; no public prices (quote / sales)) vs Constructable (Project management for mid-size GCs; vendor publishes prices). Facts last checked Oct 21, 2026. No winner declared; not tested.

| What it does | Procore's own DocuSign integration for signing commitments, prime contracts and change orders inside Procore. Read Oct 18, 2026: Procore's support pages (tagged procore-built) say users can sign, send and track commitments, prime contracts and change orders, view status and live documents in Procore, and that it works with Correspondence, Documents, Project Financials, Invoicing and Portfolio Financials. The supported-tools FAQ lists change orders, commitments (purchase orders and subcontracts), correspondence items, documents, owner and subcontractor invoices, and prime contracts. A Procore admin enables it for the company and each project, and each requester links their own DocuSign account; signers do not need one. Re-read Oct 19, 2026: unchanged in substance. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: unchanged in substance; the support overview still lists sign, send and track for commitments, prime contracts and change orders and integration with Correspondence, Documents, Project Financials, Invoicing and Portfolio Financials, and the supported-tools FAQ still covers commitment change orders and PCOs, purchase orders and subcontracts, correspondence items, documents, owner and subcontractor invoices, and prime contracts and their change orders. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: the support overview and supported-tools FAQ are unchanged in substance. The App Marketplace listing (built and supported by Procore) also names Portfolio Financials contracts and change orders, says the Invoice Management integration can execute Electronic Notarial Acts using Docusign Signature, and says sign with Docusign buttons open the document in the requester's DocuSign account to set up the envelope, with status shown in Procore. | Construction project management platform for mid-size commercial general contractors that its YC profile positions as an alternative to Procore, Autodesk and Fieldwire, from bidding to closeout. Its pricing page (read Oct 18, 2026) lists drawings and collaboration, photos and documents, punch lists and daily logs, bid management, takeoffs, RFIs and submittals, change orders and contracts, and budgeting and financials. The AI workflows page lists an AI Answer Engine that searches documents, drawing details, log entries and untagged photos and links each answer to its source, automatic drawing scale detection, AI punch list autofill from a dictated description, a Magic Extractor that copies tables and text from drawings, and Blend Modes for comparing sheets and revisions; its FAQ says all AI features are included in every plan at no extra cost. The site also lists API docs, a mobile app and a Claude connector. Y Combinator batch: Summer 2023 (YC company profile). Re-read Oct 19, 2026: the homepage lists full read and write integrations with ChatGPT (a ChatGPT plugin) and Claude (a Claude connector) and says eSigning is built in and included in the subscription; the AI workflows page and its all-AI-included FAQ are unchanged. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: homepage, pricing and AI workflows pages unchanged in substance (ChatGPT plugin and Claude connector, all AI features included in every plan); the homepage also lists automated drawing reviews that show what changed between revisions and two-way syncing integrations with accounting ERPs. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: homepage and AI workflows page unchanged in substance (ChatGPT plugin and Claude connector, automated drawing reviews, two-way accounting ERP syncing; AI Answer Engine with source links, automatic scale detection, AI punch list autofill, Magic Extractor and Blend Modes); the homepage also lists auto-checking submittals against specs. Customer quotes on the homepage are vendor-published and not used here. Second read Oct 21, 2026: the homepage FAQ answers whether it has a DocuSign integration by saying eSigning is built in and included in the monthly subscription, so there is no need to sign up for DocuSign, and says accounting sync is two-way with QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct. |
| Who it's for | Procore customers who already use, or plan to buy, DocuSign. | Mid-size commercial general contractors and builders in the U.S. and Canada. |
| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public price found for the integration (checked Oct 18, 2026). Procore's FAQ says anyone requesting signatures needs an active DocuSign account with a paid DocuSign subscription, linked to Procore; people who only sign do not need an account. To get a DocuSign account, the FAQ pointed (Oct 18, 2026) to the DocuSign page on the Procore App Marketplace and its Contact Us button. Confirm current pricing with Procore and DocuSign. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: the account FAQ now points to the Integration Requirements link on the DocuSign App Marketplace page rather than a Contact Us button; requesters still need a paid DocuSign subscription. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: unchanged; requesters still need an active, paid DocuSign subscription linked to Procore, signers do not need an account, and the FAQ still points to Integration Requirements on the DocuSign App Marketplace page. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: requesters still need an active, paid DocuSign subscription linked to Procore and signers do not need an account; the marketplace listing's requirements line says the integration is free with a paid subscription to DocuSign and links a 30-day DocuSign free trial (no DocuSign plan prices shown). | Published on constructable.ai/pricing (read Oct 18, 2026): flat monthly rates billed monthly, with unlimited users, collaborators, projects, support and onboarding on every plan. Field Management $850 a month; Field and Project Management $2,000 a month (adds bid management, takeoffs, RFIs and submittals); Field, Project and Financial Management $3,500 a month (adds change orders, contracts, budgeting and financials). Small-team pricing on request. The page also shows a Procore cost comparison that it labels as estimates only; we do not repeat it. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026 (plan prices unchanged again Oct 20, 2026): the page's comparison notes say small-team pricing (under $20M annual volume) scales from $5,000 a year at $0 volume up to the listed plan price at $20M, and it lists free data migration and onboarding and unlimited training. Confirm small-team terms with Constructable. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: plan prices unchanged ($850, $2,000 and $3,500 a month, unlimited users, collaborators, projects, support and onboarding; contact for small team pricing); the page's Procore comparison is still labeled estimates only and is not repeated. |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- What gets signed: Procore's supported-tools FAQ lists commitment change orders and potential change orders, purchase orders and subcontracts, correspondence items, project documents, owner and subcontractor invoices, and prime contracts and their change orders. Its App Marketplace listing adds Portfolio Financials contracts and change orders, and says the Invoice Management integration can execute Electronic Notarial Acts using Docusign Signature. Constructable's FAQ says eSigning is built directly into the product; the pages we read do not list which document types can be signed.
- How it works: Procore says that once the integration is enabled on a project, sign with Docusign buttons appear on supported documents, the document opens in the requester's DocuSign account to set up the envelope, and its status shows in Procore. Constructable lists contracts, change orders, budgeting and invoicing under its Financial Management area, and its FAQ says it syncs two ways with QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct.
- Accounts: Procore's FAQ says anyone requesting signatures needs an active, paid DocuSign subscription linked to Procore, while people who only sign do not need a DocuSign account. Constructable's FAQ answers the DocuSign question by saying there is no need to sign up for DocuSign or pay extra for a similar service.
- AI (our reading): neither vendor describes the signing workflow as AI. We tag DocuSign for Procore Not AI-first; Constructable is tagged AI features added to an established product for its AI Answer Engine, punch list autofill, drawing revision reviews and submittal checks, none of which its pages tie to signing.
- Pricing (checked Oct 21, 2026): Procore's marketplace listing says the integration is free with a paid subscription to DocuSign and links a 30-day DocuSign free trial; it shows no DocuSign or Procore price. Constructable publishes flat monthly plans with unlimited users: Field Management $850, Field and Project Management $2,000, and Field, Project and Financial Management $3,500 a month. Change orders and contracts appear only in the $3,500 plan's feature table, and the FAQ says eSigning is included in the monthly subscription without naming a plan, so confirm which plan includes it.
- Not used here: DocuSign's company and user counts on the marketplace listing, Constructable's estimated Procore cost comparison (which it labels estimates only) and its customer quotes. Neither tool has been tested by Means & Methods Lab.
