Eyrus vs MSite
Two jobsite workforce and access control platforms, one from a US vendor and one rooted in UK principal-contractor compliance. Not like-for-like (our reading): Eyrus pairs worker registration, time tracking and access control with hardware, on-site staffing, video surveillance and a field AI assistant called Lens, while MSite (part of Infobric Group) centres on pre-site vetting, CSCS card checks, facial recognition turnstiles and supply chain assurance below Tier 1. Vendor pages read Oct 20, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.
In short: Eyrus (Worksite access control & workforce intelligence; no public prices (quote / sales)) vs MSite (Infobric) (Workforce & supply chain assurance; no public prices (quote / sales)). Facts last checked Oct 20, 2026. No winner declared; not tested.

| AI role (our label) | Not AI-first | Not AI-first |
| What it does | Construction worksite intelligence platform for worker onboarding, time tracking, jobsite access control, payroll timesheets, messaging and reporting. Modules cover worker registration and onboarding (trade, company, certifications, multilingual videos/docs, signatures, background checks), time tracking (worker app check-in, foreman tap, BLE badges/readers, kiosks, hand scanners), access-control software and hardware (badges, turnstiles, vehicle gates, zone permissions, subcontractor sub-access), automated timesheets for payroll systems, SMS group messaging, and reporting (headcounts, workhours, certifications, fatigue, local wage & regulations, portfolio dashboards). Can also staff registration, badging, visitor management and related on-site roles. Pricing page describes consultative proposal: base software monthly plus hardware purchase or lease; no dollar amounts listed. The pages we read do not lead with AI, so we tag it Not AI-first. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: the site navigation also lists video surveillance, conditions monitoring, worksite productivity analytics, evacuation and mustering, and an A.I. construction site assistant. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: the homepage now leads with Lens, which Eyrus calls a field-ready A.I. worksite assistant that answers questions and sends recurring reports and alerts by text message, email or chat, and promotes Eyrus Security as a site-specific mix of technology, personnel and logistics; the workforce page describes BLE beacons and badges read at entry/exit points and work zones, and zones that can track different wage rates. The AI tag stays Not AI-first because registration, time tracking and access control remain the core of the product. | Construction supply chain assurance and workforce management software for principal contractors, part of Infobric Group. It sells pre-registration, online inductions in 30+ languages, identity and right-to-work vetting, time and attendance, access control, briefings, fatigue management, RAMS and visitor management, with an authorised CITB API that checks CSCS and other cards and blocks access when they expire. Hardware includes MSite Face facial recognition, Face Mini clocking stations, the Pod turnstile container and full- and half-height turnstiles. Supply Chain Assurance maps the contractor hierarchy below Tier 1 and links workers to their employers. A Procore integration syncs workers and time and attendance into Procore timesheets and daily logs. Vendor cites 12,000 customers and 1.5M workers (vendor claims). Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: unchanged in substance. The site has Global, UK, US, Swedish and Norwegian regional versions and lists sectors including commercial, housebuilding, fit-out, road and rail, utilities and energy, maintenance and secure sites; Supply Chain Assurance is pitched on visibility beyond Tier 1 (fines, tax liability and loss of Gross Payment Status in the UK). The Procore page says workers sync to the Procore directory and biometrically verified sign-ins populate Procore timesheets and appear as timecard and manpower entries in the daily log. Still no AI described. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: unchanged in substance. The access control FAQ says MSite Face and Face Mini detect photographs or AI-generated images and deny access (vendor statement), the Pod is a container with a full-height turnstile, biometric reader and lockable door, and the Supply Chain Assurance FAQ says the hierarchy is project specific (Tier 1 down to lower tiers), can be piloted on one project and does not guarantee legal or regulatory compliance. |
| Who it's for | General contractors and owners needing who-is-on-site accuracy, gate control, and payroll-ready presence data on active construction sites. | Principal contractors. |
| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public prices on the pricing page (checked Oct 16 and Oct 19, 2026): eyrus.com/pricing describes a consult-and-proposal process (learn the project and worksite, recommend solutions, proposal usually the same day); pricing components are base software and data connections (monthly price) and on-site hardware, physical barriers, readers and IoT (purchase or lease). No figures. Multi-project and enterprise agreements on request. Confirm current pricing with the vendor. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: unchanged (same consult-and-proposal process, monthly base software and data connections plus hardware on purchase or lease, no figures). | No public prices (re-checked Oct 17 and Oct 19, 2026): the site sells Pre-Site, On-Site and In-Site packages, each with a "Get a Quote" call to action and no figures, plus an online quote form after which the sales team sends a tailored quote; msite.com/pricing returns a not-found page. Its FAQ says modules can be bought standalone or together, with hardware options alongside. Confirm current pricing with the vendor. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: unchanged (Pre-Site and On-Site packages still show Get a Quote with no figures). |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- Onboarding and vetting: Eyrus Workforce collects worker name, cell phone, trade, company, certifications, signatures and custom fields, shows multilingual videos, documents and presentations with engagement tracking, and can run background checks. MSite's Pre-Site package invites workers by email to build one profile with Right to Work documents, CSCS card validation, visas and work permits, and runs online inductions in more than 30 languages, set by company, site or role.
- Access hardware: Eyrus lists badges and printers, card readers, turnstiles, vehicle access control, access-controlled trailers and restrooms, kiosks and hand scanners, with zone permissions and sub-access permissions for subcontractors, plus BLE beacons and badges read at entry/exit points and work zones. MSite sells MSite Face and Face Mini facial recognition stations, the Pod (a container with a full-height turnstile, biometric reader and lockable door) and full- and half-height turnstiles; its FAQ says Face and Face Mini detect photographs or AI-generated images and deny access (vendor statement).
- Time and payroll: Eyrus offers worker app check-in, a worker app or digital badge tapped against a foreman app, kiosks, hand scanners, BLE tracking and access logs, creates a timesheet for each worker, says zones can track work areas or different wage rates, and sends data to common payroll systems. MSite's On-Site package records arrival and exit through Face Mini stations or app location check-in, with timesheets, digital briefing and toolbox talk records, delivery scheduling and fatigue management.
- Supply chain: MSite's Supply Chain Assurance maps Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and lower-tier subcontractors and labour providers per project, links each worker to the organisation recorded as employing or engaging them, surfaces unverified, unexpected or previously flagged organisations and sole-supplier dependencies, and can be piloted on one project; its FAQ says it does not guarantee legal or regulatory compliance. Eyrus lets subcontractors manage their own workforce and work zones; the Eyrus pages we read do not describe a multi-tier supply chain map.
- Services and site security: Eyrus says it can staff worker badging, visitor management, worker and vehicle check-in, timesheets and compliance reporting, video surveillance, and weather and emergency monitoring and evacuation, and that it syncs video clips with access logs. MSite lists visitor management, RAMS, labour requisitioning and social value reporting on workforce diversity, training and community engagement.
- Communication and reporting: Eyrus sends SMS to saved worker groups (site, safety, urgent, weather and emergencies) and reports headcounts, workhours, zones, certifications, local wage and regulations and fatigue on project and portfolio dashboards. MSite offers workforce and supervisor apps and reports on attendance, briefings and site activity.
- Integrations: MSite's Procore integration maps Procore projects, syncs workers to the Procore directory and populates Procore timesheets and daily log timecard and manpower entries from its sign-in data; it also names Autodesk. Eyrus says its timesheets go to common payroll systems; the pages we read do not name them.
- AI tags: both stay Not AI-first. Eyrus's homepage now leads with Lens, which it calls a field-ready A.I. worksite assistant that answers questions and sends recurring reports and alerts by text, email or chat, but registration, time and access remain the core. The MSite pages we read do not describe AI beyond its face readers rejecting AI-generated images.
- Pricing (checked Oct 20, 2026): neither publishes prices. Eyrus's pricing page describes a consult-and-proposal process (usually same day) with base software and data connections at a monthly price plus on-site hardware, barriers and readers on purchase or lease. MSite sells Pre-Site, On-Site and In-Site packages, each with Get a Quote and no figures.
- Not used here: MSite's customer, worker, project and years-in-business counts, its site-theft cost claim and "trusted by" lines, Eyrus's admin-time and reporting-time claims, and both vendors' customer quotes and case-study figures. Neither tool has been tested by Means & Methods Lab.
