innDex vs MSite
Two UK-focused site platforms that check workers are inducted, competent and allowed to work before the gate, then log who gets through. Close on the core job (our reading): innDex is a broader site management platform that also covers health and safety, logistics, quality and emissions, while MSite, part of Infobric Group, concentrates on the workforce, biometric access hardware and a multi-tier Supply Chain Assurance view. Neither leads with AI. Compared using only vendor pages re-read Oct 17, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.
In short: innDex (Site management platform; no public prices (quote / sales)) vs MSite (Infobric) (Workforce & supply chain assurance; no public prices (quote / sales)). Facts last checked Oct 17, 2026. No winner declared; not tested.

| What it does | UK-based construction site management platform covering workforce, health and safety, logistics, site management, quality and emissions tracking. Its workforce tools cover digital inductions, CSCS and CPCS competency tracking with expiry alerts, Right to Work records, fatigue and time management, timesheets and briefings; access runs through facial recognition turnstiles, portable facial recognition units or a geofenced app, and its FAQ says it can retrofit units onto existing turnstiles. Health and safety covers incidents, observations, inspections, permits, toolbox talks and RAMS; logistics covers delivery notes, plant and temporary works; a US site version uses US terms (orientations, JHAs, punch lists). It names integrations with Asite, Procore and SustainIQ plus public APIs, and says it is Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 certified. The homepage does not describe AI; news posts describe AI Delivery Notes in pilot (Aug 2026) and a Navatech partnership for AI safety reporting. | Construction supply chain assurance and workforce management software for principal contractors, part of Infobric Group. It sells pre-registration, online inductions in 30+ languages, identity and right-to-work vetting, time and attendance, access control, briefings, fatigue management, RAMS and visitor management, with an authorised CITB API that checks CSCS and other cards and blocks access when they expire. Hardware includes MSite Face facial recognition, Face Mini clocking stations, the Pod turnstile container and full- and half-height turnstiles. Supply Chain Assurance maps the contractor hierarchy below Tier 1 and links workers to their employers. A Procore integration syncs workers and time and attendance into Procore timesheets and daily logs. Vendor cites 12,000 customers and 1.5M workers (vendor claims). |

| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public prices found (re-checked Oct 17, 2026): the vendor site has no pricing or plans link, inndex.co.uk/pricing returns a not-found page, and its FAQ says to contact the sales team for pricing. The site's calls to action are "See a demo" and "Contact us". Confirm current pricing with the vendor. | No public prices (re-checked Oct 17, 2026): the site sells Pre-Site, On-Site and In-Site packages, each with a "Get a Quote" call to action and no figures, plus an online quote form after which the sales team sends a tailored quote; msite.com/pricing returns a not-found page. Its FAQ says modules can be bought standalone or together, with hardware options alongside. Confirm current pricing with the vendor. |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- Scope (vendor wording): innDex calls itself "The Ultimate Construction Site Management Platform" and groups its tools as workforce (inductions, competency, fatigue and time management, timesheets, access control, briefings), health and safety (accidents and incidents, observations, inspections and audits, permits, toolbox talks, RAMS, point of work risk assessment), assets and logistics (transport management, delivery notes, plant and vehicles, equipment, temporary works), site management (progress photos, site messaging, daily diaries, allocation sheets), quality (checklists, snagging), emissions tracking and reports; a US version of the site uses US terms such as orientations, JHAs and punch lists. MSite calls itself "Construction supply chain assurance and workforce management software" for principal contractors, selling pre-registration, online inductions, identity checks, time and attendance, access control, timesheets, briefings, delivery management, fatigue management, labour requisitioning, RAMS, visitor management and Supply Chain Assurance, plus its own hardware and two apps.
- Competency and right to work: innDex says it tracks CSCS cards, CPCS tickets and trade qualifications with automatic expiry alerts, lets operatives carry credentials on their phone, stores Right to Work documents with the induction record, and names the Working Time Regulations 1998 and the Building Safety Act 2022 as rules its fatigue and competency tools support. MSite's FAQ says it has an authorised CITB API that checks CSCS, CPCS, CISRS, SSSTS and other cards against the CITB database, keeps a worker's ID and accreditations on one MSite profile usable across MSite sites, tracks expiry dates and blocks site access when a card has expired. Its Enhanced Vetting lets managers order physical checks of competency and right-to-work documents, including share codes, and set up a DBS check workflow for sensitive sites such as schools. Pre-Site inductions run in more than 30 languages (vendor statement).
- Access hardware: innDex lists three access options, biometric turnstiles with facial recognition, portable facial recognition units and tablets for rail, highways or multi-phase sites, and a mobile app with geofenced clock-in; its FAQ says it can retrofit innDex facial recognition units onto turnstiles from another provider and offers software-only time and attendance on client-owned devices up to containerised turnstiles. MSite sells MSite Face (facial recognition paired with turnstiles and maglock doors), Face Mini time and attendance stations, the Pod (a galvanised steel container with a full-height turnstile, Face reader and lockable door) and full- and half-height turnstiles; it says Face and Face Mini detect false images such as a photograph or an AI-generated image (vendor claim). Its Workforce App uses the phone's own biometrics for contactless entry, and its Supervisor App records the GPS location of each punch and works offline.
- Supply chain below Tier 1: MSite Supply Chain Assurance maps a project-specific contractor hierarchy from Tier 1 to Tier 3 and below, links each worker to the organisation that employs or engages them, and surfaces unverified, unexpected or previously flagged organisations and sole-supplier dependencies; subcontractor users see only their own position in the hierarchy, and it can be piloted on one project. Its page ties this to changes in CIS fraud rules and upcoming Right to Work requirements, and its FAQ says the product does not guarantee legal or regulatory compliance. innDex says it connects the whole site and supply chain with auditable data and gives main contractors visibility of workforce compliance across every subcontractor, and its FAQ says subcontractors can run their own innDex projects for commercially sensitive records; we did not find an innDex page describing a multi-tier hierarchy view like MSite's.
- Integrations: innDex's FAQ names integrations with CDEs such as Asite and Procore and ESG platforms such as SustainIQ, plus public APIs, and its workforce page says workforce, competency and attendance data connect to payroll and HR. MSite's Procore page says it maps Procore projects, syncs workers created in MSite to the Procore directory, and pushes time and attendance into Procore Timesheets and into the Site Diary or Daily Log as worker timecards or company manpower summaries; it also names Autodesk and lists CSCS as a partner.
- AI: neither homepage leads with AI, so both carry our Not AI-first label. innDex news posts describe AI Delivery Notes (Aug 19, 2026), where the gate team photographs a paper delivery note and innDex fills in the form, trialled on pilot projects ahead of a wider rollout, and a partnership with Navatech to bring AI to frontline safety reporting (Aug 20, 2026). MSite's pages describe facial recognition and false-image detection but do not call the product AI.
- Data and security (vendor statements, not verified): innDex's FAQ says it is Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 certified, with a GDPR statement and data capture documents available on request. MSite's FAQ says tier-level access rights keep operatives' personal data secure and GDPR compliant; the MSite pages we read did not state a certification in text.
- Pricing: neither publishes prices, and /pricing returned a not-found page on both sites on Oct 17, 2026. innDex's FAQ says to contact its sales team for pricing. MSite sells Pre-Site, On-Site and In-Site packages, each with a Get a Quote button, and an online quote form after which sales sends a tailored quote; its FAQ says software modules can be bought standalone or together, with hardware options alongside. Customer case studies on both sites, innDex's homepage counters (which rendered as 0 in our fetch) and MSite's customer and worker counts, which differ between its pages, are not used here.

What we can't tell you yet
Which tool is better for your work. That needs testing on the same package with a verified answer key. Planned measures for this comparison:
- How each handles your existing turnstiles, CITB card checks and right-to-work workflow on a live gate
- Which system owns the worker record when Procore or your HR system is already in place
- What software plus hardware costs for your sites; neither publishes prices
