LeadTime vs Remarcable

Two procurement tools that sit on different sides of the order. LeadTime is a procurement, supply chain and delivery tracking log for general contractors and their trades: it builds the log from PM-software data, links the CPM schedule and collects status updates from subs and suppliers, and its pages describe no AI features. Remarcable is a purchasing and material operations system built for MEP contractors, covering field requisitions, POs, supplier integrations, tools, inventory, prefab and AP, with AI search, AI OCR and invoice line checks. Partly like-for-like: both track orders through to delivery, but LeadTime tracks what others buy against the schedule while Remarcable is where the trade contractor places and pays for the order. Vendor pages read Nov 1, 2026; desk research from vendor sites, no winner.

What it doesSupply chain, procurement and delivery tracking for construction projects, replacing manual procurement spreadsheets. Listed features: generate the procurement log automatically from existing PM-software data, link CPM project schedules and stay in sync with schedule changes, real-time tracking of every item, automatic collection of status updates from subs and suppliers, and a real-time dashboard and mobile app for the field, office and trades. The homepage (rendered in a headless browser; a plain fetch returns only the page title) does not name specific PM or scheduling products and does not describe AI features, so we tag it Not AI-first. Customer quotes are vendor-published and are not used.Connected procurement and material operations for MEP contractors (homepage title Built for MEP Contractors) across field, office, prefab shop, warehouse and suppliers. Products: Procurement, Prefabrication, Tools, Delivery and Inventory; platform pages cover Intelligence, Financial Integrations, AP Automation, Reports and Supplier Integrations. Its AI, grouped as Remarcable Intelligence, covers smart search and recommendations; turning a scanned text, email or handwritten note into a bill of materials in the cart; processing quotes, sales orders and invoices from any supplier by integration or AI OCR; checking every invoice line against the PO and flagging mismatches with a review step you control (4-way invoice matching synced to accounting); and in-app AI support (vendor statements). The prefabrication page describes custom prefab models that field teams request from the field, with dependencies, material and cost set per assembly, a warehouse dashboard for requests, automated job-site charges for each assembly and in-app messaging. A PO created in Remarcable can be sent to Procore with every line item mapped. The pricing page lists SOC 2 compliance (vendor statement). Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • What each tracks (vendor pages): LeadTime says it uses existing data from your PM software to generate the procurement log automatically, links CPM project schedules and stays in sync with schedule changes, tracks every item in real time and collects procurement updates from subs and suppliers automatically, with a dashboard and mobile app for field, office and trades. Remarcable says it connects the field, office, prefab shop, warehouse and suppliers in one system, from field requests and POs to deliveries scanned with proof, inventory, tools and prefab assemblies.
  • Buying versus tracking: Remarcable turns field requests and bid packages into POs with supplier pricing and availability, sends orders to supplier ERPs, and says a PO created in Remarcable lands in Procore with line items mapped. LeadTime does not describe placing orders; it tracks procurement status against the schedule so delays surface early.
  • AI: Remarcable lists smart search and recommendations, AI OCR for quotes, sales orders and invoices, a scan of a text, email or handwritten note turned into a bill of material, AI checks of every invoice line against the PO with a review step, and in-app AI support (vendor statements). LeadTime's homepage describes no AI features, so it is listed as Not AI-first.
  • Who it is for: LeadTime names general contractors and their trades, with project-level subscriptions that include building partners. Remarcable's homepage title says Built for MEP Contractors and its pages name electrical, mechanical and plumbing contractors and distributors.
  • Pricing (checked Nov 1, 2026): neither publishes figures. LeadTime offers Project Subscriptions (duration-based billing) and an Enterprise Subscription (annual billing, volume discounts), every subscription with unlimited users, custom quote after a demo. Remarcable prices by company size, project needs and modules (Procurement, Tool Management, Prefabrication), with no extra per-user charge, any one module as a starting point and AI-powered automation and invoice matching included with every plan.
  • Not used here: Remarcable's purchase-volume, catalog, user and discrepancy figures, LeadTime's avoidable-cost statements, and customer quotes from either site. Facts for both tools come from vendor websites (desk research).

Questions to ask in your review

  • Whether your gap is visibility into submittal and material lead times across trades (LeadTime) or the trade contractor's own purchasing, receiving and AP (Remarcable)
  • Which PM and scheduling products LeadTime pulls data from, since its homepage names none
  • What either costs, since neither publishes figures
  • What did you use it for, on what kind of work and project size?
  • How long did setup and training take, and who on your team did it?
  • What does it cost you in practice, compared with what the sales call said?
