Kojo vs LeadTime

Two ways to keep track of materials before they reach the job. Kojo is materials management for trade contractors, built for MEP contractors, that runs purchasing itself (field requisitions, POs, warehouse, prefab, tools) and adds AI invoice scanning and 3-way matching in Kojo AP. LeadTime is a procurement tracking log for project teams that builds the log from your PM software, links the CPM schedule and collects status updates from subs and suppliers. Neither publishes prices. Desk research from vendor sites read Nov 4, 2026; no winner.

What it doesMaterials management for trade contractors, built for MEP contractors: plan, purchase, track, receive and pay for materials, with mobile field requisitions, purchasing, warehouse inventory, prefab and kitting, and tool tracking. Kojo AP uses AI-powered invoice scanning and 3-way matching of invoices to POs and delivery slips to flag discrepancies, with accounting/ERP and supplier integrations. Tool Tracking (usekojo.com/solutions/tool-tracking and a launch blog post) describes a central tool inventory showing each tool's assignee, location and condition; tool detail pages with pictures and statuses; lifecycle statuses including service, damaged, lost and stolen; filters by job, assignee, location, status, serial and model number; bulk moves and check-in/check-out with a status-change history; and field, warehouse and tool crib teams checking tools in and out and requesting tools on their phones. Savings figures and customer quotes are vendor claims not used here.Supply chain, procurement and delivery tracking for construction projects, replacing manual procurement spreadsheets. Listed features: generate the procurement log automatically from existing PM-software data, link CPM project schedules and stay in sync with schedule changes, real-time tracking of every item, automatic collection of status updates from subs and suppliers, and a real-time dashboard and mobile app for the field, office and trades. The homepage (rendered in a headless browser; a plain fetch returns only the page title) does not name specific PM or scheduling products and does not describe AI features, so we tag it Not AI-first. Customer quotes are vendor-published and are not used.

Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • Partly like-for-like (our reading): both replace procurement spreadsheets and show the status of material orders. Kojo is where a trade contractor places and pays for its own orders; LeadTime tracks procurement items across a project, including those held by trades and suppliers, against the schedule. AI tags differ: Kojo is AI features added to an established product, LeadTime is Not AI-first because its homepage does not describe AI.
  • Ordering and tracking (vendor statements): Kojo says the field can order from their phone like online shopping, with requisitions, purchasing, warehouse inventory, prefab and kitting, and real-time visibility from field to finance. LeadTime says it generates the procurement log automatically from existing PM-software data, tracks every item in real time and collects updates from subs and suppliers automatically, with a real-time dashboard and a mobile app for the field, office and trades.
  • Schedule link: LeadTime links CPM project schedules and stays in sync with schedule changes. The Kojo pages we read describe getting materials to the right place at the right time but do not describe a CPM schedule link.
  • Beyond procurement: Kojo covers the back office too (Kojo AP: AI-powered invoice scanning, 3-way matching of invoices to POs and delivery slips, custom approvals and accounting integrations) and tool tracking. LeadTime's homepage stays on procurement and delivery tracking.
  • Connections: Kojo's site lists Acumatica, Autodesk, CMiC, Access Coins Evo, Deltek ComputerEase, eCMS, Foundation, Procore, QuickBooks Desktop and Online, Sage 100, Sage 300 CRE, Sage Intacct, Spectrum and Vista. LeadTime's homepage does not name specific PM or scheduling products.
  • Pricing (read Nov 4, 2026): neither publishes prices. Kojo quotes per product group with unlimited users and data, tailored onboarding and no hidden fees (vendor statements); LeadTime offers Project Subscriptions (duration-based billing) and an Enterprise Subscription (annual billing, volume discounts), both with unlimited users, and a custom quote after a demo. See each tool page for detail.
  • Not used here: Kojo's savings and time figures and customer quotes, and LeadTime's customer quote (vendor material). Facts for both tools come from vendor websites (desk research).
