Newforma vs SyncEzy
Two ways to get project documents out of silos, not like-for-like. Newforma is a project information management suite for AECO firms (Konekt in the cloud, Project Center on premises) that files email into the project record, manages RFIs and submittals, and connects to Procore, SharePoint, Egnyte and BIM tools, with AI email filing and more AI features announced. SyncEzy sells point-to-point integrations, such as Procore to SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Google Drive or Dropbox, and does not describe them as using AI. Vendor pages read Nov 1, 2026; desk research from vendor sites, no winner.
In short: Newforma (Project information management; no public prices (quote / sales)) vs SyncEzy (Integrations; no public prices (quote / sales)). Facts last checked Nov 1, 2026. No winner declared; desk research from vendor sites.

| What it does | Project information management for AECO firms that connects project data across existing tools into one project record. It sells Newforma Konekt (cloud; packages Info Track, BIM Track and CA Track), Newforma Project Center (server-based, on premises; Standard, Contract Management and Enterprise editions) and Newforma ConstructEx (cloud-hosted construction management for submittals, RFIs and document management aimed at general contractors). Konekt files email from an Outlook add-in into the project record (including as an issue, RFI or submittal), manages RFIs, submittals and contract changes, views 2D and 3D models with issues and punch lists, and indexes content for Deep Search; its packages page lists connectors for Autodesk Forma Data Management, SharePoint, Egnyte, Nasuni, Panzura, Power BI, IMAGINiT Clarity, Procore (RFIs and submittals, and issues to RFIs) and many BIM tools, with a Deltek Vantagepoint connector marked coming soon, plus ISO 27001, SOC 2 and US, Canada or Europe hosting. On AI: a May 2026 Newforma blog post says AI Smart Email Filing is deployed today, Smart Search and the Vojo assistant are in development, and MCP servers and bring-your-own-LLM support are being built; the Konekt packages page lists AI Assist and Field Reports as coming soon. An Oct 21, 2026 press release says Newforma has acquired Lumi AI, a Toronto company whose analytics engine answers plain-language questions about data; Newforma says the engine will first be integrated into its platforms and will extend Vojo with smart project dashboards in Konekt, with terms not disclosed and rollout details to follow. We tag it AI features added. User and project counts and customer savings figures on the homepage are vendor content and are not used. | Point-to-point integrations: the homepage, titled Integrations for QuickBooks Time & more, lists Simpro (30+ integrations), Procore (to SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox), Zoho, QuickBooks Time, PropertyMe, PropertyTree, Employment Hero and ServiceM8 among its key partners. Its Procore SharePoint integration covers SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams and Windows Explorer with auto, folder and manual sync modes: project documents, photos and folder structure sync two ways, and RFIs, submittals and drawings one way for backup, usually within 1-3 minutes (vendor statement), with a per-project choice of Procore tools. The Procore integrations page also lists Box and QuickBooks Time connections, with HubSpot, Cloud Payroll, UKG Payroll, TwinView and contract lifecycle management marked Under Consideration. The vendor says it stores only file metadata and cites SOC 2 Type 2 certification and a Cloud Application Security Assessment (App Defense Alliance). The integrations are not described as using AI. Customer quotes are not used. |

| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public prices: the Konekt (Info Track, BIM Track, CA Track; 500 GB storage per seat listed) and Project Center (Standard, Contract Management, Enterprise editions) package pages compare features only and route to Book Your Demo. Confirm current pricing with the vendor. | No public prices: the pricing page says each of its 50+ integrations is priced separately (by records, employees, unlimited or volume, with business scale and location factored in), and prices are shown only after registering a free account on its integrations portal (not done). The Procore SharePoint FAQ describes a base subscription per company, not per user, in tiers such as Standard and Enterprise, quoted on project volume, with a free trial (Start For Free, no credit card). Confirm pricing with the vendor. |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- What each is (vendor pages): Newforma sells Newforma Konekt (cloud, packaged as Info Track, BIM Track and CA Track) and Newforma Project Center (server-based, in Standard, Contract Management and Enterprise editions) as one project record across existing tools. SyncEzy sells 50+ separate integrations, including Procore SharePoint, Procore Google Drive, Procore OneDrive and Procore Dropbox, plus Simpro, payroll and property management integrations.
- Procore and SharePoint: Newforma's Konekt packages page lists Procore connectors for RFIs and submittals and a SharePoint connector among many others. SyncEzy's Procore SharePoint page says project documents sync both ways and that RFIs, submittals and drawings sync into SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams or Windows Explorer folders, with auto, folder and manual sync modes and per-project choice of Procore tools.
- Email and RFIs: Newforma's pages describe an Outlook add-in that files email into the project record, including as an issue, RFI or submittal, plus RFI, submittal and contract change management and 2D and 3D viewers. SyncEzy copies Procore records into your file stores; it is not a place to manage RFIs.
- AI: Newforma says AI Smart Email Filing is deployed, lists AI Assist as coming soon on the Konekt packages page, and announced its acquisition of Lumi AI on Oct 21, 2026. SyncEzy does not describe its integrations as using AI; it runs a webinar on getting project data ready for AI tools.
- Security (vendor statements): Newforma lists ISO 27001, SOC 2 and US, Canada or Europe hosting for Konekt. SyncEzy says it is SOC 2 Type 2 certified, has an App Defense Alliance assessment, and stores only file metadata to run the sync.
- Pricing (checked Nov 1, 2026): neither publishes prices. Newforma's package pages compare features only and route to Book Your Demo. SyncEzy shows prices only after you register a free account on its integrations portal, and its Procore SharePoint FAQ says pricing is a base subscription per company, not per user, quoted on project volume.
- Not used here: customer quotes, user counts and savings figures from both sites. Facts for both tools come from vendor websites (desk research).

Questions to ask in your review
- Whether you need a full project record with RFI and email management (Newforma) or just Procore files mirrored into SharePoint or another store (SyncEzy)
- What you actually pay, and on what basis (neither publishes full prices)
- When Newforma's announced AI features ship in Konekt
- What did you use it for, on what kind of work and project size?
- How long did setup and training take, and who on your team did it?
- What does it cost you in practice, compared with what the sales call said?
