Structured AI vs Nomic
Two AI drawing-review agents for design firms that check a set against firm standards and code and cite each finding to the sheet. Close on the core job (our reading): Structured AI also runs its checks inside the Revit model and writes approved fixes back, while Nomic is a broader AEC agent platform with self-serve plans that pushes findings to Autodesk Forma, Fieldwire and ProjectWise as issues. Compared using only vendor pages re-read Oct 17, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.
In short: Structured AI (AI drawing QA; no public prices (quote / sales)) vs Nomic (Drawing review & QA; vendor publishes prices). Facts last checked Oct 17, 2026. No winner declared; not tested.

| What it does | AI drawing review for architects and engineers that flags errors, code issues and clashes across sheets, disciplines and revisions. Re-read Oct 17, 2026: it lists QA/QC and code compliance checks with deterministic pass, fail or verify results, drawing set chat with sourced answers, custom checks in plain English, automatic cross-discipline overlays for clash checks, and a Revit add-in that runs checks on live model elements and writes approved fixes back. Findings arrive as Bluebeam markups with two-way Studio sync; sources include Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, SharePoint and Google Drive. It says project data never trains its models. Its homepage links an ENR report on a $4.2M raise and Syska Hennessy partnership (vendor statement). | AI drawing-review agent that checks drawing sets against built-in discipline checklists or a firm's own QA/QC standards and returns cited findings. Built-in checklists cover architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and civil, plus sheet-wide coordination and missing-information checks. Returns a cited findings table and Bluebeam-compatible PDF markups; findings can be exported to Excel/JSON or pushed to Autodesk Forma, Fieldwire, and Bentley ProjectWise. Review depths: Light, Thorough, Comprehensive. Homepage (re-read Oct 16, 2026) also lists out-of-the-box agents for submittal review, RFI research, code checks and project knowledge search: Automated Submittal Review cross-references each package against drawings and specs and generates a starting submittal log from the full project manual, and Nomic Parse is pitched at "800-page specs" as well as drawing sets (vendor descriptions). |
| Who it's for | Architects and engineers. | Design firms and general contractors reviewing drawing packages before construction. |
| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public prices found (re-checked Oct 17, 2026): the vendor site has no pricing or plans link in its navigation or footer, and /pricing returns a not-found page. The site's call to action is "Book a Demo", followed by a pilot on your own drawing sets with checks built to your standards. Confirm current pricing with the vendor. | Free tier (limited agent requests, no credit card). Individual $20/month including $20 of AI usage, with top-ups. Business $40/user/month with a 25-seat minimum ($20 AI usage per seat, file integrations, SSO, Agent API). Enterprise custom. (Pricing re-checked Oct 17, 2026; unchanged.) |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- Scope (vendor wording): Structured AI calls itself "The AI drawing review platform for architects and engineers" that catches errors, code issues and coordination clashes across every sheet, discipline and revision; its features page lists QA/QC and code compliance checks, drawing set chat with sourced answers, custom checks written in plain English, overlay and clash, and a Revit integration. Nomic describes a platform that turns a firm's unstructured data into AI-ready knowledge with domain-specific agents; its Drawing Review agent checks every page of a set against your firm's QA/QC standards, and other agents cover submittal review, RFI research, code checks and project knowledge search, with an Agent API on higher plans.
- Standards and results: Structured AI says its check library grows check by check as your firm defines what matters, that practitioners who have produced and stamped drawings specify each check, and that results are a deterministic list (pass, fail or verify) with no confidence percentages. Nomic says you can bring your own standards document, generate one from past markups and RFI logs with Drawing Standards Creation, or start with its built-in QA/QC set, and that each finding is verified before it reaches your review table, with the exact drawing location, a summary, the standard section it breaks, a severity and a discipline tag (vendor statements).
- PDF and model: Structured AI reads PDF sets uploaded or pulled from Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, SharePoint or Google Drive, and says it detects and aligns sheets that cover the same area across disciplines, even at different scales, for clash checks. Its Revit add-in writes and runs code against the Revit API on linked architectural, structural, MEP and civil models, reports element IDs and levels, and applies approved fixes (spelling, tags, schedule values, revision clouds) back to the model. Nomic syncs drawing sets and standards from Autodesk Forma or Bentley ProjectWise, tagged files in SharePoint or Egnyte, or direct PDF upload; the Nomic pages we read describe review of drawing sets, not checks inside an authoring model.
- Where findings go: Structured AI delivers findings as Bluebeam markups on the sheet, syncs markups both ways with a linked Bluebeam Studio project, and lists comment closure and version comparison; it also reads Outlook and Gmail threads and Word and Excel files. Nomic exports Bluebeam-ready PDF markups, Excel or JSON, and pushes validated findings to Autodesk Forma, Fieldwire and Bentley ProjectWise as native issues with an open-to-resolved lifecycle.
- Data handling (vendor statements, not verified): Structured AI says project data never trains its models, every organisation, including demos and pilots, runs in its own isolated environment, and the AI sees only what each user is permitted to see. Nomic's pricing page lists SSO and usage analytics on Business, and SCIM seat management, invoice billing and multi-region data hosting on Enterprise.
- Company: Structured AI's homepage links an ENR report on its $4.2M raise and partnership with Syska Hennessy, and its about page says it is backed at seed and pre-seed by Y Combinator, 20VC and others.
- Pricing: Structured AI publishes no prices; its site has no pricing link, getstructured.ai/pricing returned a not-found page on Oct 17, 2026, and its path is a demo, then a pilot on your own drawing sets. Nomic publishes prices (re-checked Oct 17, 2026): Free with limited agent requests, Individual at $20 per month with $20 of AI usage, Business at $40 per user per month with a 25-seat minimum and $20 of pooled AI usage per seat, and custom Enterprise; it says AI usage is billed at the underlying model rates with no markup (vendor statement). Structured AI's review-time, confirmation-rate and fewer-issues figures, its customer quote, and Nomic's ROI table are not used here.

What we can't tell you yet
Which tool is better for your work. That needs testing on the same package with a verified answer key. Planned measures for this comparison:
- How many findings on a set your team already checked are real issues rather than noise
- Whether your firm's standards and code checks can be set up in each tool without vendor help
- What Structured AI costs, and how much Nomic AI usage a full set uses at your review depth
