Neuron Factory vs Provision
Two AI-first preconstruction platforms that read drawings, specs and contracts to flag scope gaps, conflicts and risk. Not like-for-like (our reading): Neuron Factory sells four modules on a construction knowledge graph, including takeoff from drawings and trade bid packages, through a demo, while Provision sells three per-project products (Chat Agent, Scope Agent and Risk Review) with published starting prices. Compared using only vendor pages re-read Oct 17, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.
In short: Neuron Factory (AI knowledge graph for precon; no public prices (quote / sales)) vs Provision (Contract & document review; vendor publishes prices). Facts last checked Oct 17, 2026. No winner declared; not tested.

| What it does | AI-native preconstruction platform on a construction knowledge graph that captures documents, decisions and version changes to surface risks. Re-read Oct 17, 2026: four modules, Bid Graph (tender package risk review, project overviews, clause annotation), Takeoff Graph (computer vision drawing classification, quantity and object takeoff, 2D-to-3D views), Conflict Graph (spec-versus-drawing and cross-discipline conflicts ranked by severity, with a revision audit trail) and Project Graph (trade bid packages mapped to your templates, editable Word scopes of work). It says answers cite source sheets and leave fields blank when confidence is low. SOC 2 Type 1 announced Oct 15, 2026 (vendor statement). | AI preconstruction platform with a Chat Agent for cited document answers, a Scope Agent for scopes of work, and Risk Review for contract risk. The Chat Agent gives source-cited answers from drawings, specs, contracts, RFIs, and addenda; the Scope Agent writes scopes of work and finds scope gaps; Risk Review is automated contract analysis that flags risky clauses, missing scope, and commercial exposures with citations, severity levels, default-position comparison, and RFI/redline generation. Vendor claims 95% verified accuracy, that it can read up to 100,000 pages, and that it is SOC 2 Type II certified (vendor claims, not verified). Homepage cites 66,000+ documents processed, 1M+ risks identified, and 50,000+ queries answered. Risk Review page (read Oct 16, 2026) now describes contract review and spec review bundled in one product: spec requirements surfaced and organized, requirements traced across specs, drawings and contracts, cross-document conflict detection, conflicting or unclear requirements flagged before bid day, and unlimited custom checklists (vendor descriptions). Site banner says Scope Agent is now generally available. |

| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public prices found (re-checked Oct 17, 2026): the vendor site has no pricing or plans link in its navigation or footer, and /pricing returns a not-found page. The site's call to action is "Get a Demo". Confirm current pricing with the vendor. | Per-project pricing, not per seat. Chat Agent from $50 per project; Risk Review (Chat Agent included) from $100 per project; Scope Agent (Chat Agent included) from $500 per project. Chat Agent is included free with Scope Agent or Risk Review plans; platform and volume pricing through sales. (Pricing re-checked Oct 17, 2026: unchanged.) |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- Scope (vendor wording): Neuron Factory calls itself an AI-native preconstruction platform that captures every document, decision and version change so teams can catch risks before they become costly, built on what it calls a construction-focused enterprise knowledge graph with 50+ specialized agents. It sells Bid Graph, Takeoff Graph, Conflict Graph and Project Graph. Provision calls itself an AI-powered risk reduction platform for pre-construction with three products: Chat Agent, Scope Agent (generally available, per its site banner) and Risk Review.
- Tender and contract risk: Neuron Factory's Bid Graph reads tender packages to flag pricing, terms and compliance risks, auto-generates project overviews from specs and drawings, supports collaborative annotation on clauses and links summaries back to source pages. Provision's Risk Review flags risky clauses, missing scope and commercial exposures with citations, high, medium or low severity, comparison against your default positions, filters for clauses that deviate from preferred templates, custom checklists, and RFI and redline generation.
- Scope packages: Neuron Factory's Project Graph organizes trade line items into bid packages mapped to your own templates, keeps unassigned scope visible, extracts only the pages, clauses and sections relevant to a trade, and generates an editable Word scope of work. Provision's Scope Agent identifies missing, unclear or conflicting scope across drawings, specs, tables and notes and generates standardized scope packages.
- Conflicts and questions: Neuron Factory's Conflict Graph cross-references specs against floor plans to find cross-discipline discrepancies, ranks conflicts by severity and keeps an audit trail of which revisions created or resolved them. Provision's Chat Agent answers questions across drawings, specs, contracts, RFIs and addenda with a citation on every answer and reads up to 100,000 pages per project; its pricing page also lists cross-document conflict detection. Provision's 95% verified accuracy figure is a vendor claim, not verified.
- Takeoff: Neuron Factory's Takeoff Graph uses its own computer vision models to classify and index drawings from bulk uploads, build a "Building Graph" from floor plans for quantity and object takeoffs, and show 2D drawings as interactive 3D views. The Provision pages we read do not describe quantity takeoff.
- Review and citations: Neuron Factory says every answer carries inline citations to the source drawings or specs, spells out its reasoning, leaves fields blank when confidence is low and defers final sign-off to a human reviewer; it also says it reads a package in the language it was issued in. Provision says every answer traces back to the exact page, section or clause.
- Security and company (vendor statements, not verified): Neuron Factory announced SOC 2 Type 1 on Oct 15, 2026 and says it is working toward Type 2, though its security page still describes the Type I attestation as in progress; it lists TLS 1.2 or higher in transit and AES-256 at rest. Its press page lists a $6M seed round with a Cordeel Group partnership (Aug 18, 2026) and an expanded design partnership with Suffolk. Provision says it is SOC 2 Type II certified, with data encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Pricing: Neuron Factory publishes no prices; its site has no pricing link, neuronfactory.ai/pricing returned a not-found page on Oct 17, 2026, and its call to action is Get a Demo. Provision publishes per-project starting prices (re-checked Oct 17, 2026): Chat Agent from $50, Risk Review from $100 and Scope Agent from $500 per project, with Chat Agent included in Scope Agent or Risk Review, no per-seat fees, and platform and volume pricing through sales. Not used here: Neuron Factory's 4X, 36% and 100% homepage figures, Provision's ratings, counters, speed and accuracy comparisons and competitor table, and customer quotes on both sites.

What we can't tell you yet
Which tool is better for your work. That needs testing on the same package with a verified answer key. Planned measures for this comparison:
- How each handles your largest bid set, and how long a first pass takes
- Whether Neuron Factory's takeoff quantities match your own counts on a finished job
- What Neuron Factory costs, and what a Provision platform plan costs for more than one product
