HingePoint ProConnector vs SyncEzy
Two add-ons that keep Procore documents and Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive in sync in both directions. Like-for-like on the core job (our reading): HingePoint ProConnector is a Procore-to-Microsoft file sync sold by project count, while SyncEzy's Procore SharePoint integration also copies RFIs, submittals, drawings and photos one way and is one of 50+ integrations SyncEzy sells. Neither describes AI. Compared using only vendor pages re-read Oct 17, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.
In short: HingePoint ProConnector (Procore-Microsoft file sync; no public prices (quote / sales)) vs SyncEzy (Integrations; no public prices (quote / sales)). Facts last checked Oct 17, 2026. No winner declared; not tested.

| What it does | Annual-subscription service that syncs documents two ways between Procore and Microsoft SharePoint, Teams or OneDrive. Its homepage says pricing is by number of projects, not users. Its FAQ says created, edited, moved and deleted files and folders mirror both ways (no one-way mode), any folder level can be mapped, files over 1,024 MiB do not sync, and permissions in each system are left unchanged. It also lists migrating SharePoint documents into Procore and backing up Procore documents to SharePoint. | Point-to-point integrations, including Procore to SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox, and 30+ integrations for Simpro. Its Procore SharePoint integration syncs project documents two ways and RFIs, submittals and drawings one way into SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive or Windows Explorer folders, usually within 1-3 minutes (vendor statement). It says it stores only file metadata and is SOC 2 Type 2 certified. |
| Who it's for | Procore customers using Microsoft 365. | Procore and Simpro users. |
| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public prices found (re-checked Oct 17, 2026): the ProConnector homepage says pricing is an annual subscription based on the number of projects, not users, with unlimited files and users; its FAQ says adding connections moves you to the next volume discount. There is no pricing or plans page (proconnector.hingepoint.com/pricing and /plans returned a not-found page on Oct 16). The site offers a 30-day free trial. Confirm current pricing with the vendor. | No public prices on pricing page (re-checked Oct 17, 2026): the page says each of its 50+ integrations is priced separately (by records, employees, unlimited or volume, scaled to business size) and prices are shown only after registering a free account on its integrations portal (not done). The Procore SharePoint page's FAQ says tiered plans (for example Standard vs Enterprise) priced per company rather than per user, with a custom quote based on project volume and a free trial. |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- Scope: HingePoint ProConnector describes an annual subscription service with three Procore connectors (SharePoint two-way file sync, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive), built as web services hosted on Azure that map one Procore project document module to one SharePoint (or Teams) project document library. SyncEzy's Procore SharePoint Integration (Two Way) says it syncs Procore data with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive or local Windows Explorer folders as one "4 in 1" integration; SyncEzy also sells Procore connectors for Google Drive, Dropbox, Box and QuickBooks Time and 30+ integrations for Simpro.
- What syncs: HingePoint's FAQ says files and folders created, updated, copied, moved, deleted or restored in one system are mirrored in the other; there is no one-way mode (it suggests making one side read-only), and you can map the root or any level 1-3 folder, which syncs that whole branch. It also lists migrating SharePoint documents into Procore and backing up Procore documents to SharePoint. SyncEzy's FAQ says Project Documents sync two ways, while RFIs, Submittals and Drawings sync one way from Procore to SharePoint and Photos are synced too; you pick tools and folders per project, choose auto, folder or manual sync modes, and it can create the SharePoint folder structure for a new Procore project from your template.
- Speed and limits (vendor statements): HingePoint says small files reflect in 5-10 seconds when the queue is not backlogged, large files take minutes, and files over 1,024 MiB do not sync; it recommends running the first sync at night because Procore's default API limit (3,600 calls per hour) can throttle other projects. SyncEzy says syncs run near real time, usually within 1-3 minutes, with a configurable frequency.
- Permissions and edit conflicts: HingePoint says sync runs on service accounts that copy all files regardless of permissions, and does not change permissions in Procore or SharePoint, so access is set separately in each; if two people edit the same file in both systems at once it keeps a "filename-copy" rather than overwrite. SyncEzy says permissions are managed independently in both systems and describes two-way sync with version history in both applications.
- Setup and data handling: HingePoint lists Procore Core tools plus SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2013/2016 on premises, says its team installs the integration in Office 365 and Procore, maps and tests the connections, and that archiving a finished project frees the license for the next; it says it syncs without keeping copies of your files. SyncEzy describes a cloud integration with nothing to install, a metadata-only policy (files stay in Procore or Office 365), SOC 2 Type 2 certification and an App Defense Alliance CASA assessment, and says it has been an official Procore integration partner since 2019 and is listed on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace (vendor claims, not verified).
- AI: neither vendor's pages describe AI features, so both carry our Not AI-first label. Our reading of why they belong next to AI tools: document AI answers only from the files it can see, and SyncEzy's own October 2026 webinar is titled "Is Your Project Data AI-Ready?"; a sync add-on decides whether Procore and SharePoint hold the same current revisions.
- Pricing: neither publishes prices. HingePoint says pricing is an annual subscription based on the number of projects, not users, with unlimited files and users, volume discounts as you add connections, and a 30-day free trial. SyncEzy's FAQ says tiered plans by plan level (for example Standard vs Enterprise), priced per company rather than per user, with a custom quote based on project volume and a free trial; its pricing page shows prices only after registering a free account on its integrations portal (not done). The ProConnector site footer reads © 2024; we did not find a dated product update on it.

What we can't tell you yet
Which tool is better for your work. That needs testing on the same package with a verified answer key. Planned measures for this comparison:
- How each handles your SharePoint site and folder template and your permission model on a live project
- Real sync lag, error reporting and recovery during a large first sync under Procore API limits
- What each costs for your project count
