Dili vs LCPtracker
Two ways to check certified payroll on prevailing wage work. Not like-for-like (our reading): Dili is an AI-first platform plus compliance services for developers and EPCs, quote-only; LCPtracker Pro collects certified payroll from every contractor for agencies and primes, and LCPcertified, for subs filing their own reports, publishes prices. Desk research from vendor pages read Oct 20, 2026; not tested, no winner.
In short: Dili (Prevailing wage and certified payroll compliance; no public prices (quote / sales)) vs LCPtracker (Certified payroll & labor compliance; vendor publishes prices). Facts last checked Oct 20, 2026. No winner declared; not tested.

| AI role (our label) | AI-first | Not AI-first |
| What it does | Compliance automation for prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements on projects tied to federal funding and tax credits. The site (read Oct 18, 2026) describes an AI engine that ingests certified payroll reports in any format (PDF, Excel, CSV; WH-347 and state forms) and cross-references them against prevailing wage requirements and SAM.gov wage determinations, flagging issues such as underpayments, fringe benefit gaps and missing apprentice certifications; drag-and-drop payroll uploads for subcontractors; apprenticeship tracking; dashboards; and project closeout reporting. Alongside the software it sells full-service compliance monitoring, retroactive look-back compliance assessments, alterations and repairs monitoring, ongoing monitoring and compliance training. Its YC profile says it serves energy, infrastructure, data centers, advanced manufacturing and construction and has helped customers secure over $1 billion in federal funding; the site cites five minutes a week per contractor and a 5-minute average payroll review (vendor claims, not verified). Y Combinator batch: Summer 2023 (YC company profile). Re-read Oct 19, 2026: unchanged in substance; the services section says full-service monitoring is backed by former DOL and EPC compliance experts, and the homepage says Dili was built by a team that automated $2T+ in compliance in a heavily regulated industry (vendor claims, not verified). Re-read Oct 20, 2026: homepage and YC profile unchanged in substance; the integrations section names ADP and Acumatica payroll, SAM.gov data feeds and an open API. | Cloud software for certified payroll, Davis-Bacon compliance and workforce reporting, plus LCP CaseView for labor-compliance investigations. Re-read Oct 17, 2026: LCPtracker Pro is the project-wide product for public agencies and prime contractors; every contractor on a project submits certified payroll reports electronically, it runs over 100 validations against Davis-Bacon and state and local prevailing wage rules, administrators approve or reject payrolls, and it tracks workforce demographics and IRA prevailing wage and apprenticeship (PW&A) data. LCPcertified is the single-contractor product for subcontractors producing their own reports (over 50 validation checks, XML files for the California DIR, Washington L&I and Maryland portals). Other products listed: Active Insights dashboards, OnSite field wage interviews and Daily Reporter daily logs (both cross-checked against certified payrolls), VantagePoint supplier diversity, Workforce Manager and LCPtracker Academy training. Its Preferred Affiliates page lists payroll providers whose data can be imported, including Paychex, ADP, Foundation, HH2 and Miter. The vendor says LCPtracker Pro holds FedRAMP Moderate Rev 5 Agency Authorization and is SOC 2 Type II and NIST 800-171 compliant (vendor statements). The pages we read do not describe AI in the products; LCPcertified support includes an AI-powered knowledge center. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: product, security and LCPcertified pages unchanged in substance; the menu now also lists LCP+ (enhanced support, exclusive training and additional resources), the Ignite Conference and Spark Seminars, and an Energy segment under Who We Serve. The security page says FedRAMP requires roughly 320 controls against 80-100 for SOC 2 (vendor statement). Still no AI described in the products. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: the Pro, LCPcertified, security and Preferred Affiliates pages are unchanged in substance (the affiliates page now summarizes its list as ADP, Paychex, Paycom and 16+ others); still no AI described in the products. |
| Who it's for | Developers and EPCs on prevailing wage and apprenticeship projects (energy, infrastructure, data centers, manufacturing and construction), and the subcontractors who submit payroll to them. | Public agencies and prime contractors monitoring every tier on prevailing-wage work (LCPtracker Pro), and subcontractors producing their own certified payroll (LCPcertified). |
| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public prices found (checked Oct 18, 2026): dili.com/pricing returns a not-found page and the calls to action are "See Dili" and "Schedule a Demo". Confirm with Dili. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: dili.com/pricing still returns a not-found page. Where the vendor descriptions differ
- Who runs it: Dili says it is built for developers and EPCs protecting funding and tax credits tied to prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance, with drag-and-drop payroll uploads for their subcontractors. LCPtracker says Pro suits public agencies and prime contractors responsible for monitoring every contractor on a project down to lower-tier subs, and LCPcertified is for subcontractors, or GCs not managing subs, producing their own reports.
- How payroll gets checked: Dili says its AI engine ingests certified payroll in any format (PDF, Excel, CSV; WH-347 and state forms), checks rates against SAM.gov wage determinations and flags underpayments, misclassifications, fringe benefit gaps and documentation gaps line by line. LCPtracker Pro lists over 100 validations and mathematical checks against Davis-Bacon and state and local prevailing wage rules, supports the updated WH-347, and lets administrators approve or reject payrolls; LCPcertified lists over 50 validation checks.
- Apprenticeship and IRA: Dili lists apprentice-to-journeyman ratio tracking and registered apprenticeship hours. LCPtracker Pro's FAQ says it collects and tracks Inflation Reduction Act prevailing wage and apprenticeship (PW&A) data, including covered alterations and repairs work.
- Services versus software: Dili also sells full-service compliance monitoring it says is backed by former DOL and EPC compliance experts, look-back compliance assessments, alterations and repairs monitoring and training. LCPtracker's pages describe software plus support; LCPcertified support includes an AI-powered knowledge center.
- Connections and outputs: Dili names ADP and Acumatica payroll integrations, SAM.gov data feeds and an open API. LCPtracker Pro accepts payroll export files from payroll and accounting providers and links to its own Active Insights, LCP CaseView, OnSite, Daily Reporter and Workforce Manager products; LCPcertified produces XML files for the California DIR, Washington L&I and Maryland portals.
- Security (vendor statements): LCPtracker says Pro holds FedRAMP Moderate Rev 5 Agency Authorization and meets SOC 2 Type II and NIST 800-171. Dili's homepage says it is SOC 2 compliant, with role-based access and a full audit trail.
- AI: Dili describes AI review of every payroll line, so it stays tagged AI-first. LCPtracker's product pages do not describe AI in the products, so it stays Not AI-first.
- Pricing (checked Oct 20, 2026): Dili publishes no prices (/pricing returns not found; the calls to action are a demo). LCPcertified Plus is $12 per report or by active projects, from $145/month for up to 5 to $7,400/year for unlimited; Professional runs from $1,900/year for up to 10 active projects to $18,200/year for up to 450. LCPtracker Pro has no public price (/pricing goes to Contact Sales).
- Not used here: Dili's time-per-contractor, fines-avoided and platform-volume figures and its compliance-history claim, and LCPtracker's market-position claims and customer quotes. Neither tool has been tested by Means & Methods Lab.
