Dropbox Sign for Procore vs Constructable
Two ways a general contractor gets commitments, change orders and contracts signed electronically. Shake IT's Dropbox Sign for Procore adds Dropbox Sign to a Procore account you already run; Constructable is a project management platform for mid-size GCs that says eSigning is built in and included in its subscription. Not like-for-like: one is an add-on to Procore, the other is pitched as a replacement for it. Vendor pages read Oct 21, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.
In short: Dropbox Sign for Procore (Shake IT) (eSignature integration; no public prices (quote / sales)) vs Constructable (Project management for mid-size GCs; vendor publishes prices). Facts last checked Oct 21, 2026. No winner declared; not tested.

Re-read Oct 18, 2026: the page says it sends Prime Contract, Commitment and Change Order templates for signature from a Procore side panel, with automated reminders to each signer and executed documents saved back to the matching place in Procore; it links a Procore Marketplace listing and a free trial. Shake IT, a Dropbox reseller and integration builder, also sells Dropbox Sign for Greenhouse and Dynamics 365 consulting. Re-read Oct 19, 2026: the Procore page now also claims contracts are signed up to 80% faster, and the FAQ says its Dropbox Sign packages can be significantly more affordable than DocuSign for many teams (vendor claims, not verified). Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: the Procore page still describes sending Prime Contract, Commitment and Change Order templates for Dropbox Sign signature from inside Procore, automated reminders to each signer and executed documents saved back to Procore, with Goto Marketplace and Book a Demo calls to action; the up to 80% faster signing claim is still there (vendor claim, not verified). Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: the Procore page is unchanged in substance; it says completed documents are legally binding and compliant with applicable eSignature legislation (vendor statement) and links Goto Marketplace, Book a Demo and a trial promotion page. | Construction project management platform for mid-size commercial general contractors that its YC profile positions as an alternative to Procore, Autodesk and Fieldwire, from bidding to closeout. Its pricing page (read Oct 18, 2026) lists drawings and collaboration, photos and documents, punch lists and daily logs, bid management, takeoffs, RFIs and submittals, change orders and contracts, and budgeting and financials. The AI workflows page lists an AI Answer Engine that searches documents, drawing details, log entries and untagged photos and links each answer to its source, automatic drawing scale detection, AI punch list autofill from a dictated description, a Magic Extractor that copies tables and text from drawings, and Blend Modes for comparing sheets and revisions; its FAQ says all AI features are included in every plan at no extra cost. The site also lists API docs, a mobile app and a Claude connector. Y Combinator batch: Summer 2023 (YC company profile). Re-read Oct 19, 2026: the homepage lists full read and write integrations with ChatGPT (a ChatGPT plugin) and Claude (a Claude connector) and says eSigning is built in and included in the subscription; the AI workflows page and its all-AI-included FAQ are unchanged. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: homepage, pricing and AI workflows pages unchanged in substance (ChatGPT plugin and Claude connector, all AI features included in every plan); the homepage also lists automated drawing reviews that show what changed between revisions and two-way syncing integrations with accounting ERPs. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: homepage and AI workflows page unchanged in substance (ChatGPT plugin and Claude connector, automated drawing reviews, two-way accounting ERP syncing; AI Answer Engine with source links, automatic scale detection, AI punch list autofill, Magic Extractor and Blend Modes); the homepage also lists auto-checking submittals against specs. Customer quotes on the homepage are vendor-published and not used here. Second read Oct 21, 2026: the homepage FAQ answers whether it has a DocuSign integration by saying eSigning is built in and included in the monthly subscription, so there is no need to sign up for DocuSign, and says accounting sync is two-way with QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct. |

| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public dollar prices found (checked Oct 16, 2026; re-checked Oct 18, 2026): there is no pricing page, but Shake IT's FAQ describes its Dropbox Sign packages: per-seat plans from 5 users (Dropbox Sign Premium) or 8 users (Standard) with unlimited signatures, per-request plans with unlimited users from 120 signature requests per year, monthly pay-as-you-go per-request options, and pro-rata upgrades. Calls to action are "Book a Demo" and a free trial from the marketplace listing. Confirm current pricing with the vendor. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: package terms unchanged; still no dollar prices. Re-checked Oct 20, 2026: package terms unchanged (per-seat from 5 users on Premium or 8 on Standard with unlimited signatures; per-request plans with unlimited users from 120 requests a year; monthly PAYG; pro-rata upgrades). The FAQ now ends with "Transparent pricing. Flexible packages. No surprises." but still shows no dollar figures, so the wording and the page do not match; ask sales for figures. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: FAQ package terms unchanged; still no dollar figures. | Published on constructable.ai/pricing (read Oct 18, 2026): flat monthly rates billed monthly, with unlimited users, collaborators, projects, support and onboarding on every plan. Field Management $850 a month; Field and Project Management $2,000 a month (adds bid management, takeoffs, RFIs and submittals); Field, Project and Financial Management $3,500 a month (adds change orders, contracts, budgeting and financials). Small-team pricing on request. The page also shows a Procore cost comparison that it labels as estimates only; we do not repeat it. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026 (plan prices unchanged again Oct 20, 2026): the page's comparison notes say small-team pricing (under $20M annual volume) scales from $5,000 a year at $0 volume up to the listed plan price at $20M, and it lists free data migration and onboarding and unlimited training. Confirm small-team terms with Constructable. Re-checked Oct 21, 2026: plan prices unchanged ($850, $2,000 and $3,500 a month, unlimited users, collaborators, projects, support and onboarding; contact for small team pricing); the page's Procore comparison is still labeled estimates only and is not repeated. |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- What gets signed: Shake IT's page names Prime Contract, Commitment and Change Order templates, sent for signature from inside Procore, with custom contracts and attachments to multiple signers. Constructable's FAQ says eSigning is built directly into the product, and its pricing page lists Change Orders and Contracts among its features; the pages we read do not list which document types can be signed.
- How it works: Shake IT says you start from your existing Procore templates, signers get automated email reminders until the document is executed, and fully executed documents are saved back to the matching place in Procore. Constructable lists contracts, change orders, budgeting and invoicing under its Financial Management area and says it syncs two ways with QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct.
- Accounts and vendors: Dropbox Sign for Procore is built and sold by Shake IT, a Dropbox reseller and integration builder, and links a Procore Marketplace listing and a trial promotion. Constructable's FAQ answers the DocuSign question by saying there is no need to sign up for DocuSign or pay extra for a similar service.
- AI (our reading): neither vendor describes the signing workflow as AI. We tag Dropbox Sign for Procore Not AI-first; Constructable is tagged AI features added to an established product for features such as its AI Answer Engine and submittal checks, which its pages do not tie to signing.
- Pricing (checked Oct 21, 2026): Shake IT publishes no dollar figures; its FAQ describes per-seat Dropbox Sign plans from 5 users (Premium) or 8 users (Standard) with unlimited signatures, per-request plans with unlimited users from 120 signature requests a year, monthly pay-as-you-go options and pro-rata upgrades, and it still needs a Procore subscription. Constructable publishes flat monthly plans with unlimited users: Field Management $850, Field and Project Management $2,000, and Field, Project and Financial Management $3,500 a month, with small-team pricing on request; Change Orders and Contracts appear in the plan feature table without the page saying which plan includes eSigning, so confirm with the vendor.
- Not used here: Shake IT's up to 80% faster signing claim and its claim that its packages can be more affordable than DocuSign, Constructable's estimated Procore cost comparison (which it labels estimates only) and customer quotes on both sites. Neither tool has been tested by Means & Methods Lab.
