Constructable vs Contractor Foreman

Two all-in-one construction management platforms with published prices, aimed at different contractor sizes. Constructable is project management for mid-size commercial general contractors, from bidding to closeout, with an AI Answer Engine, Submittal Precheck and other AI workflows included in every plan at flat monthly company rates. Contractor Foreman is all-in-one PM for small and mid-size general and specialty contractors, built around daily logs, scheduling and invoicing, with plans capped by user count and an AI Estimator marked Preview. Partly like-for-like (our reading): both run projects, field logs and financials in one subscription, but they price and target differently. What it doesConstruction project management platform for mid-size commercial general contractors that its YC profile positions as an alternative to Procore, Autodesk and Fieldwire, from bidding to closeout. Its pricing page lists drawings and collaboration, photos and documents, punch lists and daily logs, bid management, takeoffs, RFIs and submittals, change orders and contracts, and budgeting and financials. The AI workflows page lists an AI Answer Engine that searches documents, drawing details, log entries and untagged photos and links each answer to its source, automatic drawing scale detection, AI punch list autofill from a dictated description, a Magic Extractor that copies tables and text from drawings, and Blend Modes for comparing sheets and revisions; its FAQ says all AI features are included in every plan at no extra cost. The homepage also lists full read and write integrations with ChatGPT (a ChatGPT plugin) and Claude (a Claude connector), GraphQL and MCP API docs, Submittal Precheck that checks submitted product data against the spec book, Revision Review of changed sheets including unclouded changes, built-in eSigning included in the subscription (its FAQ says there is no need to sign up for DocuSign), two-way accounting sync with QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct, and a mobile app. Customer quotes and emails on the homepage are not used. Y Combinator batch: Summer 2023 (YC company profile).All-in-one construction management software for contractors, with daily logs that track crews, weather, deliveries and equipment. The Daily Logs feature records subs, visitors and crews on site, automatic daily weather with notes, material deliveries and usage and equipment activity, and updates related purchase orders when materials are marked delivered; photos and files added to a log are auto-filed to the project folder; custom fields and multiple templates control what is shared with clients or owners; logs stay with the project as a permanent history. Other modules include client portal, inspections, permits, punch lists, scheduling (Gantt, critical path, baselines), service tickets, work orders, to-dos, time cards that flow to payroll, and AIA-style G702/G703 progress invoicing with retainage tracking. The plans page lists a Takeoffs module where you upload plans, measure and "have a conversation with the built-in AI", with quantities connected to the estimate, and an AI Estimator marked Preview on the Pro and Unlimited plans, so it is tagged AI features added; however, the Takeoffs feature page FAQ says Takeoffs are currently in development, with sign-up for launch updates, so confirm availability with the vendor. Daily logs are described without AI. Integrations listed are QuickBooks Online, Zapier and Xero, which the FAQ says is coming Q4 2026 and the menu says is coming December 2026. The page's most-affordable claim and savings amounts are vendor wording and are not used.
