Nyfty.ai vs Novara Flex

Two construction safety tools with AI, built for different jobs. Nyfty.ai runs AI safety agents over SMS: foremen get a text link each morning and complete pre-task plans, toolbox talks, permits, attendance and other forms in a browser chat, with records written back to Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud, at published monthly prices. Novara Flex is a broader EHS platform (incidents, audits and inspections, equipment inspection, SDS, contractor risk, training) with embedded AI such as a Form Agent and ASSP-powered Safety Trekr AI, priced by quote. Not a like-for-like pair: field-compliance capture by text versus a full safety management system. Desk research from vendor sites read Oct 30, 2026; no winner.

What it doesSMS-based AI safety agents for PTPs, toolbox talks, orientations, permits, attendance and inspections, with no app or login for workers. The site lists two products: Safety Agents for GCs (live; an SMS link opens a browser chat, records sync to Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud, optional Smart Access Controller hardware for gate access and headcount) and a Safety Agent for Subcontractors (one morning text for sub foremen, listed as launching Dec 2026). The vendor lists 12+ agents. A Configuration Assistant, which the FAQ calls the home screen of every project, lets you describe what you need by chat and proposes an agent setup for you to approve, with no setup call needed. The FAQ says the Pre-Task Plan agent works in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and work logs in English and Spanish with translation back to English. The homepage offers an SMS scan-to-try demo. Homepage counters and customer names are not used.Mobile-first construction safety software with no-code configurable forms and workflows, digital audits and inspections, equipment inspection (QR codes), SDS management, incident tracking, offline mobile reporting, contractor risk and toolbox talks, plus embedded AI; the construction page names Procore and Spectrum integrations. The Flex AI page lists two live AI features: Form Agent, which turns a PDF, scan or image up to 25 MB into a digital form, inspection or checklist with confidence indicators and refines it in plain language, and Safety Trekr AI, powered by ASSP, which gives source-backed answers from ANSI/ASSP standards and the Safety Professionals Handbook. A Hazard Detection Agent, an AI-powered operational risk intelligence layer and natural-language interaction are marked coming soon. Administrators control which Flex AI capabilities are active and for which teams. Form-build time, chemical database size and incident-reporting time are vendor claims and are not used.

Pricing (as publicly stated)Pricing page describes billing by the number of foremen and workers who interact with Nyfty by SMS each day (admins and passive managers not counted), with every plan starting with 300 free SMS messages per month. Paid tiers load in an embedded billing panel, shown billed annually: Just Manpower and Just Orientations plans at US$92 (Small), US$138 (Medium) and US$276 (Large) per month (US$1,104, US$1,656 and US$3,312 a year), and Typical Setup plans covering all workflows, including the AI agents, at US$155, US$363 and US$635 per month (US$1,860, US$4,361 and US$7,620 a year); an optional Broadcast Bot is $1 a month per person on the subscription. Plan limits: Small 20 people a day (6 foremen), Medium 50 (15), Large 100 (30); orientation plans cover up to 100, 160 or 350 people a month; all-workflow plans list attendance, orientation, manpower, JHA-PTP, permits, toolbox talk, certifications, forms and inspections, hazard and near-miss and T&M capture bots, with unlimited projects and console users. Custom plans are scoped on a call above the Large tier (100+ people per day), and the page says Nyfty has no sales team. Vendor-listed prices; a plain text read misses them because the panel loads separately. No public prices: the vendor site has no pricing or plans link, novara.com/pricing and /plans return a not-found page, and the calls to action are Book Demo, Request a Demo and Contact us, plus a self-serve video demo center. Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • What each covers (vendor pages): Nyfty.ai lists agents for pre-task plans and JHAs, toolbox talks, site orientations, permits, attendance and crew check-in, manpower and work logs, forms and inspections, worker certifications, hazard and near-miss reporting and T&M capture, plus optional Smart Access Controller hardware for gate access and headcount. Novara Flex lists incident management, audits and inspections, QR-code equipment inspection, SDS management, a compliance calendar, OSHA record-keeping, dashboards, contractor risk management, toolbox talks and a training course library, with offline mobile reporting.
  • How the field uses it: Nyfty.ai says workers need no app and no login; a foreman gets an SMS link that opens a chat where AI drafts the day's pre-task plan and checks it against the safety policy. Novara Flex is a mobile-first app with no-code configurable forms and workflows that administrators change themselves.
  • Where AI fits: Nyfty.ai is AI-first (the agents are the product), and a Configuration Assistant proposes the project setup for approval. Novara Flex is tagged AI features added to established product; its Flex AI page lists Form Agent (builds a form, inspection or checklist from an existing PDF or scan) and Safety Trekr AI, powered by ASSP (source-backed answers to safety and compliance questions), with a Hazard Detection Agent, an operational risk intelligence layer and natural-language dashboards marked coming soon.
  • Integrations and language (vendor pages): Nyfty.ai syncs to Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and its FAQ says the pre-task plan agent works in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Novara's construction page names Procore and Spectrum integrations, and its menus list multilingual support. Our information on any of these integrations comes from vendor websites (desk research).
  • Pricing (checked Oct 30, 2026): Nyfty.ai publishes monthly tiers billed by daily active SMS users: Just Manpower or Just Orientations US$92, US$138 or US$276 a month and all-workflow plans US$155, US$363 or US$635 a month, billed annually, with 300 free SMS messages a month and custom plans above 100 people a day. Novara publishes no prices; novara.com/pricing returns a not-found page and the route is Book Demo.

  • How each writes records into Procore or your other systems on a real project
  • What did you use it for, on what kind of work and project size?
  • How long did setup and training take, and who on your team did it?
