| What it does | Field service management software for service businesses in HVAC and refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and the other trades in its industry menu (among them appliance repair, garage door, roofing, remodeling, solar, landscaping and septic): customer management, estimates and jobs, scheduling and dispatching with route planning, invoicing and integrated payments, QuickBooks Online and Desktop integration, project management, reporting, a technician mobile app, service agreements, job costing, inventory, eSign documents, a customer web portal, GPS fleet tracking and, on Pro, an open API. AI shows up in two places on the pages we read (Oct 18, 2026). Its AI Phone Answering page describes ZyraTalk, an AI call answering service from the same EverPro group, which answers calls 24/7, asks clarifying questions, books appointments into the Service Fusion schedule, creates customer records and follow-up tasks, escalates urgent calls to a person and logs a transcript, recording and key data for each call; it also lists an AI webchat for your website and outbound calls that follow up on pending estimates, completed jobs, membership renewals and unpaid invoices. ServiceCall.ai, Service Fusion's phone add-on, is described as combining VoIP and artificial intelligence and lists call and voicemail transcription, call tracking linked to jobs and estimates, call queues, call scripts, recording and Ring-a-Tech routing; it requires a Service Fusion subscription. Vendor claims, not verified by us: over 7,000 service companies, and more than 1 million customer conversations handled by ZyraTalk. | Field service management software for home service businesses such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning and landscaping (its pricing FAQ, read Oct 18, 2026): online booking, scheduling and dispatch, estimates and invoicing, payments and consumer financing, price book, job costing, review management, routes, flat-rate pricing, checklists, photo reports, employee GPS tracking, commissions, QuickBooks Online sync and, on Max, sales proposals, recurring service plans, route optimization, Zapier and an open API. Its AI Team page lists CSR AI (answers calls and website chats 24/7 and books jobs from your services, hours and availability; text answering is listed as coming soon), Analyst AI (answers questions about revenue, job trends and team performance), Coach AI (recommendations on growth, pricing and hiring), Marketing AI (drafts emails, campaigns and service descriptions) and Help AI. The FAQ says Marketing AI, CSR AI chat, Analyst AI, Coach AI and Help AI are included on all plans, while CSR AI 24/7 call answering is a paid feature sold separately. The CSR AI page says owners set scripts, hours, booking and escalation rules, choose whether the greeting discloses that it is AI, and can send a caller who asks for a person to a number of their choice or a Housecall Pro Assist rep; call summaries and booking details land in the call log. Vendor claims, not verified by us: 200,000+ pros, and that pros using CSR AI earn over 2x more revenue on average. |
| Who it's for | Home and commercial service contractors of any team size that want one price regardless of headcount: HVAC, plumbing, electrical and similar trades. | Home service businesses from solo operators to growing teams: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, landscaping and similar trades. |
| Pricing (as publicly stated) | Published on servicefusion.com/pricing (read Oct 18, 2026), with unlimited users on every plan: Starter $208, Plus $325 and Pro $533 a month billed annually as one payment (the page says this saves 15%), or $245, $382 and $627 month to month. No contract is required. Plus adds job photo uploads, inventory, job costing and integrated voice and text; Pro adds the open API, custom and eSign documents, a customer web portal and progress billing and recurring invoicing. ServiceCall.ai and GPS Fleet Tracking are add-ons on every plan with prices not shown; ServiceCall.ai's standard plan includes up to 2,000 talk minutes per user, pooled across users, billed with the subscription. ZyraTalk AI call answering is not priced on the pages we read. | Published on housecallpro.com/pricing (read Oct 18, 2026): Basic $59 per month billed annually or $79 monthly, 1 user included; Essentials $149 annually or $189 monthly, 5 users; Max $299 annually or $329 monthly, 8 users, with $35 per month per additional user. The page also showed introductory first-month discounts. 14-day free trial of Max with no credit card; no long-term contract. Card processing from 2.59% and a 1% fee on bank payments. CSR AI 24/7 call answering is sold separately and its price was not listed on the pages we read. Franchise and multi-location pricing by contact. |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- AI call answering: Service Fusion's page describes ZyraTalk, an AI service from the same EverPro group that answers calls 24/7, books into the Service Fusion schedule, escalates urgent calls and logs transcripts and recordings, with AI webchat and outbound follow-up calls; no price on the pages we read. Housecall Pro's CSR AI answers calls and website chats and books from your services, hours and availability; its FAQ says 24/7 call answering is sold separately.
- Assistants: Housecall Pro lists Analyst AI, Coach AI, Marketing AI and Help AI, included on all plans. We found no assistant for business questions on the Service Fusion pages we read; its ServiceCall.ai phone add-on lists call and voicemail transcription and call tracking.
- Pricing: Service Fusion Starter $208, Plus $325 and Pro $533 a month billed annually ($245, $382 and $627 month to month), unlimited users, no contract. Housecall Pro Basic $59, Essentials $149 and Max $299 a month billed annually ($79, $189 and $329 monthly) with 1, 5 and 8 users included, $35 per added user, and a 14-day free trial.
- Team size: Housecall Pro's price rises with each user past the plan's included count; Service Fusion's list price does not change with headcount. Which costs less depends on your headcount and the plan features you need.
