| What it does | Field service management software for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, appliance repair and other service contractors, aimed at multi-truck operations (homepage, read Oct 18, 2026): call booking, scheduling and dispatching from a central dispatch board with GPS tracking, work orders and a technician mobile app, quotes and invoices, a pricebook with flat-rate pricing, purchases and replenishment, service agreements, reporting, tech time tracking, integrated SMS texting and QuickBooks Online and Desktop sync. Add-on products include FieldEdge Payments, FieldEdge Flat Rate (an equipment and repairs pricing database), Proposal Pro (good, better, best options for the homeowner), MarketingEdge (email marketing and two-way texting) and a Consumer Management Portal; the company also sells a separate product, ESC. We found no AI features named on the pages we read (homepage, pricing, scheduling and dispatching, and What's New, which lists multiple technician assignments per work order, online appointment requests, two-way SMS and a Mobile 2.0 app in development). The homepage describes smart dispatching with GPS tracking and intelligent task assignment without saying it uses AI. We list FieldEdge as a comparison point for the AI features of other field service platforms. | Field service and contractor management software for residential and commercial trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, garage door, chimney, septic, pest control and others, plus commercial mechanical, refrigeration and fire and life safety), covering call booking, dispatching, scheduling, invoicing, pricebook, mobile estimates, payroll, memberships, marketing, reporting, accounting and inventory, with add-on Pro products (Marketing, Contact Center, Pricebook, Fleet, Scheduling, Dispatch and Field Pro). Its Titan Intelligence page (read Oct 18, 2026) groups its AI as Atlas, Ads Optimizer (feeds ServiceTitan revenue data into Google Ads), Job Value Predictor, Second Chance Leads (flags unbooked calls that a call back might save), Price Insights in Pricebook Pro (compares your price for a service with the regional average selling price), a quarterly Benchmark Report, Review Response Generator, Invoice Summary and Invoice Email generators, and Risky Driver Detection in Fleet Pro. Atlas, described as an AI sidekick, answers technicians' questions from ServiceTitan data and, with Field Pro, from equipment manuals, spec sheets and installation guides, and helps with troubleshooting; Atlas in the office is listed as coming soon. The AI Virtual Agent page describes a native voice and SMS agent that books calls straight to the dispatch board from ServiceTitan data and your business rules, confirms and reschedules appointments, transfers to a live CSR when needed and logs summaries and transcripts; ServiceTitan says it works with Contact Center Pro or another phone system. Vendor claims, not verified by us: over 100,000 contractors, and about 20 minutes to implement the AI Virtual Agent. |
| Who it's for | Small and mid-market multi-truck service contractors in HVAC, plumbing and electrical, plus locksmith, appliance repair and similar trades. | Residential and commercial service, replacement and construction contractors in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other trades, from growing shops to enterprise and franchise groups. |
| Pricing (as publicly stated) | No public prices. The pricing page (read Oct 18, 2026) lists three plans, Select, Premier and Elite, each behind a Request Pricing button, with 2, 4 and 6 mobile app licenses included; its FAQ says pricing varies with the number of technicians or employees and the add-ons you choose, and that Proposal Pro, MarketingEdge and the Consumer Management Portal can be added to Select and Premier. No free trial; FieldEdge says its team does onboarding, data transfer and training instead. Upgrades are allowed any time and downgrades at the end of the contract period. Confirm with FieldEdge. | No public prices. The pricing page (read Oct 18, 2026) describes per-technician pricing across three packages, Starter, Essentials and The Works, each behind a Request Pricing button, and a demo form that asks for industry and number of technicians. Pro products, including the AI Virtual Agent, carry no prices on the pages we read. Confirm with ServiceTitan. |
