Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • Hardware: Timescapes' cameras page lists solar-powered, cellular cameras with 21 megapixels, up to a 99° field of view and an operating distance of up to 400 m, aluminum and polycarbonate enclosures, and installation in under 30 minutes (vendor claims). Sensera describes solar-powered, wirelessly connected cameras; its homepage does not list camera specifications.
  • AI: Timescapes says AI automatically detects and logs concrete trucks, excavators and personnel to verify daily logs, confirm deliveries and track asset use across the site. Sensera says AI reviews images throughout the day for safety concerns identified by the OSHA Focus Four, and that AI progress reports summarize each area of the site and the site overall over a set period.
  • Safety and security: Sensera describes security cameras to detect, deter and respond to threats, with a daily security report summarizing motion-triggered clips. Timescapes' platform page lists health and safety scores for site teams; the Timescapes pages we read do not describe a security monitoring service.
  • Platform: Timescapes lists unlimited timelapses for any date range, an automated daily log (weather, personnel activity and equipment usage), equipment uptime and weather-delay tracking, 3D BIM overlays on site imagery, IoT sensor correlation, and integrations with Procore and Autodesk. Sensera's homepage does not name integrations.
  • Vendor statements (not verified): Timescapes says its hardware achieves over 98% continuous uptime and that ongoing system monitoring is free of charge, and it serves GCs and owners in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Sensera cites 2,200+ customers and says it was founded in 2014 in Golden, CO.
  • Pricing (checked Oct 19, 2026): neither publishes prices. Timescapes' homepage links a /pricing page that returned not found (Oct 16, 17 and 19, 2026) and its call to action is Request Demo; Sensera has no pricing page and asks you to request a quote.
