Cupix vs OpenSpace

Two 360° reality capture platforms that both exhibit at Procore Groundbreak 2026 and both sell AI progress tracking as an add-on: Cupix's SiteInsights, which needs a BIM model, and OpenSpace Track, which does not and adds human review. Both are quote-only. Vendor pages re-checked Oct 19, 2026; desk research, not tested, no winner.

What it does4D digital twin platform whose "spatial AI" turns 360° video into measurable 3D models over time, plus a SiteInsights AI progress add-on. Customers use it to digitize sites, reduce visits, track changes and validate work, and it unifies laser scans, drone orthophotos and BIM; it is also used in oil & gas, manufacturing and government. SiteInsights uses computer vision and geometry to detect changes between 360° captures against BIM and the schedule, needs a BIM model, and its 4.0 release (Jun 2026) added an AI S-curve forecast and an Oracle Primavera Cloud integration. It names integrations with BIM 360, Autodesk Forma, Procore, Revizto, Oracle and ArcGIS, and lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and CSA STAR. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: unchanged; the SiteInsights page names Oracle P6 and Microsoft Project among compatible scheduling platforms.Visual intelligence platform that turns site photos, video, 360 walks and drone flights into one visual record, with add-on progress tracking. Captures include photos, video, voice notes, 360 walks, and drone flights, with plan and model comparison, issue and RFI resolution, BIM coordination, and AI workflows. Progress tracking is sold as OpenSpace Track, an add-on: vendor describes AI-powered tracking with humans in the loop, 700+ visual components across 200+ schedule tasks, schedule support for P6, MS Project, Asta, and Excel, no BIM required (a model can be added), and progress reports 24-48 hours after capture; it says imagery is ready in 15 minutes on average and a 25,000 sq. ft. capture typically takes 10 minutes (vendor claims). Integrations named: Procore, Autodesk, Revizto. Vendor cites 77 billion square feet captured and 132 countries served (vendor claims).

Pricing (as publicly stated)Custom quote / no public prices (re-checked Oct 17, 2026): the pricing link redirects to Cupix's contact sales page, which also offers a free start for capturing a project. The SiteInsights FAQ says its pricing takes into account total project value, square footage and other factors. Confirm current pricing with the vendor.Quote-based. Pricing page re-checked Oct 16 and Oct 19, 2026 (unchanged; multi-year subscriptions are offered): Core and Enterprise subscriptions with no prices. Core lists unlimited capture across projects of any size, capture from any device (phones, 360 cameras, drones), BIM comparison and guided onboarding; Enterprise adds SSO, OpenSpace APIs and enterprise services and support; OpenSpace Track is a subscription add-on to either. The quote form says you can ask about a Core pilot before buying. Earlier note (Oct 15, 2026): Quote-based. Vendor says pricing is based on annual construction volume (ACV) and subscription tier (Core or Enterprise), not per user or per project; Enterprise adds SSO and API access; OpenSpace Track is an add-on to either tier, sold at the project or portfolio level and priced on project type and scope tracked (Track FAQ). Annual subscriptions can cover a single project, and a Core pilot can be requested. No prices listed.

Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • Capture platform: Cupix describes a 4D digital twin platform whose "spatial AI" turns 360° video into measurable 3D models over time, and says it unifies laser scans, drone orthophotos and BIM in one place; it is also used in oil & gas, manufacturing and government. OpenSpace describes a visual intelligence platform that turns photos, video, 360 walks and drone flights into one visual record, with capture from smartphones, 360 cameras and drones, BIM comparison and issue, RFI and punch resolution.
  • Progress add-on: Cupix's SiteInsights uses computer vision and geometry to detect changes between each 360° capture against BIM and the schedule, calculates overall progress and forecasts completion dates from the past rate of work; its 4.0 release (Jun 2026) added an AI S-curve forecast and an Oracle Primavera Cloud integration. OpenSpace Track, an add-on to Core or Enterprise, describes AI-powered tracking with humans in the loop, over 700 visual components across over 200 schedule tasks, and Spotlights alerts that flag unfinished work or blockers.
  • BIM and schedules: the SiteInsights FAQ says a BIM model is required for its AI to measure progress, and names Oracle P6 and Microsoft Project among compatible scheduling platforms. OpenSpace says BIM is not required for Track (a model can be added to enhance the analysis) and supports P6, MS Project, Asta, Excel and Gantt chart schedules.
  • Setup and turnaround: Cupix says SiteInsights setup can take 4-6 weeks with its customer success team, while the rest of CupixWorks can be used in the meantime, and recommends a site capture at least once a week. OpenSpace says imagery is ready in 15 minutes on average, a 25,000 sq. ft. capture typically takes 10 minutes, and progress reports follow in 24-48 hours (vendor claims).
  • Integrations and security: Cupix names BIM 360, Autodesk Forma, Procore, Revizto, Oracle and ArcGIS, and lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and CSA STAR on its security page. OpenSpace names Procore, Autodesk and Revizto, and its Enterprise tier adds SSO and OpenSpace APIs; security certifications are not recorded on our OpenSpace tool page, so ask the vendor.
  • Pricing (checked Oct 19, 2026): neither publishes prices. Cupix's pricing link goes to a contact sales page, and its FAQ says SiteInsights pricing takes into account total project value, square footage and other factors. OpenSpace prices on annual construction volume and tier (Core or Enterprise), not per user or per project; Track is priced by project type and scope tracked; annual subscriptions can cover a single project, multi-year terms are offered and a Core pilot can be requested.
  • Vendor claims (not verified): Cupix says it is used by 70% of the ENR Top 30 general contractors and has captured over 20,000 project sites since 2023; OpenSpace cites 77 billion square feet captured and 132 countries served. Not measured the same way; neither tool has been tested by Means & Methods Lab.

Paraphrased from the sources listed above. Vendor claims are reported as claims.
