Oracle Advisor for Safety vs Voxel

Two AI safety tools that work from very different inputs. Oracle Advisor for Safety, part of Oracle Construction and Engineering Intelligence, forecasts which projects in a construction portfolio are most likely to have a safety incident, using safety observations, incidents, workforce information, schedules and weather, and sends a weekly risk summary with suggested actions. Voxel is computer vision that runs on a site's existing IP cameras to flag vehicle, ergonomic, PPE and area risks as they happen; its listed industries are logistics and supply chain, manufacturing and retail, not construction. Not like-for-like: portfolio-level prediction from records versus on-camera detection at a facility. Desk research from vendor sites read Oct 31, 2026; no winner.

What it doesPart of Oracle Construction and Engineering Intelligence (CEI), alongside Construction and Engineering Analytics. Oracle says Advisor for Safety uses AI models trained on decades of construction project data to analyze structured and unstructured project data (safety observations, incidents, workforce information, schedules, weather, documents), identify safety hazards and predict which projects are at greatest risk of a safety incident, with a weekly risk summary that ranks every project in a portfolio by incident likelihood, why, and recommended preventative actions. Its FAQ says forecasts start from implementation rather than after years of collecting internal data and are refined as more customer data is ingested. CEI Analytics lists prebuilt pipelines to Primavera P6 EPPM, Unifier, Aconex and Primavera Cloud, a natural-language assistant over project data, feeds to Oracle Fusion Applications and the Oracle AI Data Platform, and agentic AI grounded in an organization's own policies and governance frameworks (vendor statements).AI platform that runs on existing IP cameras, grouped into Voxel Safety (ergonomics, area controls, vehicle safety, PPE monitoring, and environmental controls such as spills, obstructions and blocked exits), Voxel Quality (cold chain spoilage prevention, hygiene compliance, site condition) and Voxel Flow (cycle time, flow mapping), with actions, owners and reporting. The Safety page lists an Executive Hub, no facial recognition, face and body blurring, SOC 2 Type II with end-to-end encryption, and role-based access with SSO, and the homepage says it adapts to new environments within 48 hours (vendor statements). Its listed industries are logistics and supply chain, manufacturing and retail; construction is not listed, and examples are industrial operations such as ports and warehouses. An Oct 13, 2026 Voxel announcement says the Ventral AI engineering team (computer vision on moving equipment and fleets, and on data center buildouts and other high-precision construction sites) has joined Voxel's engineering organization (vendor announcement). Accuracy, camera-compatibility, training-hours and customer outcome figures are vendor claims and are not used.
Who it's forOwners, PMOs, executives, project directors, delivery teams and safety leaders managing safety across a portfolio of worksites (vendor list).Safety and operations leaders at industrial enterprises. Construction use is not the vendor's stated focus.
Pricing (as publicly stated)No public prices. The Construction and Engineering Intelligence page shows no prices and no product-specific pricing link (the site links Oracle's general corporate pricing page, which we did not review for this product), and /pricing under the product path returns not found. Where the vendor descriptions differ

  • What each looks at: Oracle says Advisor for Safety analyzes safety observations, incidents and other operational information from across the organization to forecast where and when incidents are most likely. Voxel says it identifies vehicle, ergonomic, PPE and area risks through existing cameras, plus environmental controls such as spills, obstructions and blocked exits (vendor statements).
  • Output: Oracle describes a weekly risk summary that ranks all projects in a portfolio by likelihood of an incident, with actionable next steps. Voxel describes risk detection turned into targeted coaching and tracked improvement over time, and flags speeding, unsafe stops and proximity hazards for vehicles and equipment (vendor statements).
  • Fit for construction: Oracle's product is built for construction and engineering owners and contractors, and ties into Construction and Engineering Analytics with pipelines to Primavera P6 EPPM, Unifier, Aconex and Primavera Cloud. Voxel's industry pages list logistics and supply chain, manufacturing and retail; its Oct 2026 announcement says the Ventral AI team, which worked on data center buildouts and other construction sites, has joined Voxel, but construction is still not a listed industry (vendor statements).
  • Deployment and privacy (vendor statements): Voxel says it can be deployed to any site in 48 hours on existing camera infrastructure, uses no facial recognition, blurs faces and bodies, and is SOC 2 Type II certified with role-based access and SSO. Oracle says its models are trained on construction project data so forecasts can start at implementation and refine as they ingest the customer's own data.
  • AI (our reading): Voxel is AI-first; Oracle Advisor for Safety is an AI feature set within Oracle's established construction software portfolio.
  • Pricing (checked Oct 31, 2026): neither publishes prices. Oracle's product page has no pricing link and routes to Contact us, Request a demo and Get started. Voxel's /pricing returns not found and the site routes to Book a Meeting.
  • Not used here: Voxel's customer-outcome percentages, accuracy and camera-compatibility figures and customer quotes, and Oracle's statements about workers' compensation and insurance savings (vendor material). Facts for both come from vendor websites (desk research).

What users say

The facts above come from vendor websites. Whether either tool is any good for your work is something only people who use them can say. These are member reviews, all ratings shown, never edited or removed for being negative.

Used either of these? Share your take

Good or bad, an honest review from an estimator, PM or super helps the next team more than another vendor demo. You post under a handle; your email is never shown.

Questions to ask in your review

  • Whether your safety data (observations, incidents, workforce records) is complete enough for portfolio forecasting
  • Whether your sites have fixed IP cameras where vision AI could run, and whether Voxel supports construction sites
  • How either fits your existing safety program and Oracle or other construction systems
  • What either costs
  • What did you use it for, on what kind of work and project size?
  • How long did setup and training take, and who on your team did it?
