Nyfty.ai vs Breadcrumb
Two jobsite safety tools for pre-task plans, orientations, permits and attendance that sync to Procore and Autodesk. Not like-for-like (our reading): Nyfty.ai runs AI safety agents over SMS with no app for workers and publishes prices; Breadcrumb is a safety and site-visibility app, quote-only and priced by company size, with AI on a waitlist. Desk research from vendor pages read Oct 20, 2026; not tested, no winner.
In short: Nyfty.ai (AI safety agents (SMS); vendor publishes prices) vs Breadcrumb (Jobsite safety & visibility; no public prices (quote / sales)). Facts last checked Oct 19, 2026. No winner declared; not tested.

| What it does | SMS-based AI safety agents for PTPs, toolbox talks, orientations, permits, attendance and inspections, with no app or login for workers. Records land in Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud. Vendor lists 12+ agents. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: the site now lists two products: Safety Agents for GCs (live; SMS link opens a browser chat, records sync to Procore or Autodesk, optional Smart Access Controller hardware for gate access and headcount) and a Safety Agent for Subcontractors (one morning text for sub foremen, launch listed for Dec 2026). The homepage announces a Configuration Assistant from Oct 20 that proposes an agent setup for approval. Its FAQ says the Pre-Task Plan agent works in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and work logs in English and Spanish with translation back to English. | Jobsite safety and productivity app that puts information in crews' hands, with site-worker features and Procore and Autodesk integrations. Re-read Oct 18, 2026: features include digital pre-task plans and JHAs, subcontractor pre-mobilization document collection through a no-login invite link (site safety plans, SDS), permits, digital site sign-in with a live worker directory, mobile orientations completed off site or by QR code (sessions in English, Spanish and other languages), and stored worker licenses and tickets that follow workers between projects. The two-way Procore integration files orientations, certifications, PTPs and JHAs into Procore Documents by project and subcontractor and turns attendance into manpower hours and visitor logs in the Procore Daily Log; the Autodesk integration syncs orientations, PTPs, permits, attendance and safety documents into Autodesk Files and Forms. Its Breadcrumb AI page says AI features are being built with an early access group and will reach the US over the coming months through a waitlist, so we keep the Not AI-first label. Re-read Oct 19, 2026: the Breadcrumb AI page still says AI functionality will be made available over the coming months through a waitlist. |

| Pricing (as publicly stated) | Pricing page (checked Oct 16, 2026; prices read Oct 17, 2026) describes billing by the number of foremen and workers who interact with Nyfty by SMS each day (admins and passive managers not counted), with every plan starting with 300 free SMS messages per month. Paid tiers load in an embedded billing panel, shown billed annually: Just Manpower and Just Orientations plans at US$92 (Small), US$138 (Medium) and US$276 (Large) per month (US$1,104, US$1,656 and US$3,312 a year), and all-workflow plans that include AI agents at US$155, US$363 and US$635 per month (US$1,860, US$4,361 and US$7,620 a year); an optional Broadcast Bot is $1 a month per person on the subscription. Custom plans are scoped on a call above the Large tier (100+ people per day), and the page says Nyfty has no sales team. Vendor-listed prices; our Oct 16 text and HTML reads missed them because the panel loads separately. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026 (billing panel rendered in a headless browser): all prices unchanged. Plan limits shown: Small 20 people a day (6 foremen), Medium 50 (15), Large 100 (30); orientation plans cover up to 100, 160 or 350 people a month; all-workflow plans list attendance, orientation, manpower, JHA-PTP, permits, toolbox talk, certifications, forms and inspections, hazard and near-miss and T&M capture bots, with unlimited projects and console users. | Custom quote / no public prices on pricing page (checked Oct 16, 2026; unchanged Oct 18, 2026). The page says Breadcrumb is priced annually based on company size (the quote form asks for annual revenue), with no per-user or per-seat fees, no storage limits, a dedicated Customer Success Manager and premium support included, and says your cost goes down in a tough year. Re-checked Oct 19, 2026: unchanged. |

Where the vendor descriptions differ
- How workers use it: Nyfty runs over SMS and secure browser links, and its FAQ says workers need no app, no password and no Procore or Autodesk account. Breadcrumb describes digital site sign-in with a live worker directory, mobile orientations completed off site or by QR code, and worker licenses and tickets stored in one place.
- Workflows: Nyfty's FAQ lists pre-task plans and JHAs, toolbox talks, site orientations, permits, attendance and crew check-in, manpower and work logs, forms and inspections, worker certifications, hazard and near-miss reporting, and time and materials capture. Breadcrumb lists JHAs and PTPs, permits, subcontractor pre-mobilization documents (site safety plans, SDS), attendance and orientations.
- Languages: Nyfty's FAQ says the Pre-Task Plan Agent works in English, Spanish and Portuguese and Work Logs support English and Spanish with automatic translation back to English. Breadcrumb's homepage says English, Spanish and other language orientation sessions can run at the same time.
- Integrations: both name Procore and Autodesk. Nyfty says you connect Procore or Autodesk when you sign up. Breadcrumb describes a two-way Procore integration and an Autodesk integration for orientations, PTPs, permits, attendance and safety documents.
- AI: Nyfty is built around AI agents and is tagged AI-first. Breadcrumb's AI page says AI functionality will be made available in the US over the coming months through a waitlist, so it stays tagged Not AI-first.
- Pricing (checked Oct 20, 2026): Nyfty publishes monthly tiers billed by daily active SMS users, with a free trial (prices recorded on its tool page). Breadcrumb publishes no prices; its pricing page says it prices by company size with unlimited users and storage, in one annual price.
- Not used here: Breadcrumb's project counts and case studies. Neither tool has been tested by Means & Methods Lab.
